Free will is no guarantee of success as has been explained, in terms simple enough for even a child to understand, several times. Free will means you have the ability to CHOOSE what you WANT to do. You can make a choice and act without being puppeted. That does not mean you can SUCCEED, simply that you can CHOOSE and control your own actions.
You seem to think that free will means if I want it it happens. << That's not the definition. Thanks for playing kid

You assume that what you perceive is real, everyday all day, yet you have no proof. You could be a brain in a jar hooked up to a machine, you could be being tormented by some sort of sufficiently powerful entity. You take on faith that the computer you're typing on exists. You have no evidence but perception, and perception is not certain.
Many things are assumed. You said you had scientific proof. Show it or shut it.

But you do not get to choose. You simply don't get it. I can choose many things. But, in the end, what I choose, I may not get. Dude, this isn't that hard.
As I expected. You are way too juvenile to engage an argument you have no understanding of. The definition is very clear. You have just decided not to understand it other than the way you want to understand it.

Lol! Still don't get it do you? What does that have to do with free will? "The ability to make choices that are not controlled by fate or God"? What choices do we have out there, that are not controlled by fate or God?

The making of the choice is not controlled. No one meat puppeted you. YOU CHOSE, you said it yourself.
    Done. You fail.

Gosh, you are hard headed aren't you? "The making of a choice is not controlled". But the outcome is. Free will is the result of the outcome, not the choice. Therefore free will does not exist. One more time the definition; " The ability to make choices, that are not controlled by fate or God". Answer my question that you ignored. What choices do we have out there that are not controlled by fate or God?

He still does not get it, while acting all juvenile in the process. Amazing! Free will is the result of an outcome. And we do not get to decide the result of that outcome by the choices we make. Therefore, as you said in the beginning, "free will" does not exist.

You might mean well... but people cannot fathom a clue about what that means. (Most won't even care to know.)

Free will is the choice, not the outcome, that's clear in the definition you keep trotting out. The ability to MAKE CHOICES, not to see those choices bear fruit. Free will is not being a meat puppet, not having everything you wish for. Answer my question I asked you: Is there fate or God? show me proof. Also show me proof that either of those negates the ability to make a choice and attempt to follow through on it. Not to actually succeed, but to ATTEMPT, to make the choice..

According to the definition you keep flogging like a dead horse free will is the ability to MAKE A CHOICE that is not controlled by Fate or God. Making a choice has nothing to do with that choice bearing the fruit you wish.

And it has nothing to do with free will either. Free will is the outcome of the choice. Not what you wish. That's it. The choice does not determine the outcome. And since that is the case, free will is worthless. You can make a choice all you want, and you can wish a desired outcome, but, as long as free will decides that outcome by using the written definition, then free will cannot exist. It is a word by virtue of its own definition, has written itself out of existence.

Lol! Again, this is so entertaining. You asked me if there is fate or God? I answered that many posts back. But for the sake of totally ruining your own argument, if you are asking me this question, then how can you possibly know what the definition of free will is, if you can't answer the question yourself, that you are asking me? What makes you the authority on free will, when having to ask the fate/God question to me, while the actual definition includes the two?
