'Black' NAACP leader outed as white woman

    Yup. I think she tried it all ... twice !! Some I read, and some were not noted, so I am combining what I know with what I can think up.Hanging a noose in her yard, or on her door. Spray-painting "(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*)". Watermelon on the doorstep. KFC coupons scattered in her yard. I am sure she was treated rudely in a WalMart check-out line as she is so obviously black. I don't know how many ways there are, but she definitely wanted to be the victim.

    Sowee but too bad...your ilk here opened up several different venues outside and unrelated to this incident. If everyone just talked about how lying is wrong, about how this lie will affect the Spokane NAACP, about lying to gain employment, how this lie will affect the blacks in the Spokane area and in the nation, then you'd have a point. Unfortunately, you have become so utterly blind by your own prejudices, you cannot see the deviations.

    This incident has nothing to do with political ideology yet the minions here saw fit to start a free-for-all CJ on liberals...many going as far as to state or infer, that this incident is somehow tied in to all liberals, which is preposterous. The usual ignorant suspects took advantage of this incident to launch more racial slurs against blacks although the person who did this was white. At least one puss bag attempted to tie this incident in with sexuality and of course, the false moral indignation.

    As far as I see it, the conservative right hates blacks so much, they will tolerate child sexual abusers in their own midst, which is not at all surprising.

    “It is very disturbing that she has become so dishonest,” Dolezal’s mother, Ruthanne Dolezal, told the Idaho newspaper.

    Her parents also alleged a much wider web of warped lies Dolezal spun about her background. A black man who Dolezal has publicly claimed to be her son is in fact her adopted brother, they said — a fact Dolezal confirmed to the paper.

    Dolezal also lied about growing up in a teepee, hunting for her own food with bows and arrows, being abused by a stepfather and once living in South Africa, her parents said.




    In one November 2013 post, she offered tips for black viewers to watch the period drama "12 Years a Slave," which she called "not the best film to take a white partner on a first date to."

    She advised: "sit in the top, back row so that during the movie people aren't constantly looking at you to monitor the 'Black response' to the film."

    The same day, she wrote another post about a slave character in the film, Patsey, played by Lupita Nyong'o.

    "When Patsy [sic] makes the dolls with the braided arms in '12 Years,' it brought back memories of when I was a little girl and made the same husk dolls in the garden, only I braided their hair instead of the arms...," Dolezal wrote.

    Well now, it seems to me that the first person to launch racial slurs against blacks was this white woman, right? And if you're saying that white people on this board hurled racial slurs against this woman, then explain how that's possible? Can a white person hurl a racial slur at another white person? The N word doesn't apply here, does it.

    This woman obviously looked at the cards she was dealt and realized there are more benefits to being black than there are to being white, and from the job she has and the wagons that are being circled, she was right.

    If she thinks that she is black, I think we should support her in her race identification. Who are we to say otherwise. It takes courage to come out and claim her true identity. She deserves the same support that we owe all of the transgender people. I think tanning should be a government sponsored benefit.:roll:

    I think it's funny that the NAACP may be discriminating against the "artificially colored" person.

    The problem isn't that she's a white person working as president of a local chapter of the NAACP. The problem is that she's a white person claiming to be black working as president of a local chapter of the NAACP. It's kind of like letting "Soul Man" (from the C. Thomas Howell movie of that name) getting that job....

    That's not the issue. The issue is not that a white woman is part of the NAACP. The issue is that a white woman pretending to be a black woman is part of the NAACP.

    I can only wonder if the respected NAACP of old would have let a person who has been exposed as a fraud run one of their chapters?

    I'm inclined to think they wouldn't.
