    The parents came out after seeing her on the news pretending to be black and after she cut them out of her life because it would ruin her image. What a peach.

    what a very narrow and shallow perspective. Who are we to determine what race she is? If she feels that she's an Eskimo then so be it. We must be inclusive.

    I really wish the candidacy of one Barack Obama didn't happen, it really polluted the political pool, for years to come. Now mind you, there always were uneducated voters, but before they were so stupid they didn't know how to vote. Now, they know how to vote and have even found message boards :(.

    Eh I suppose it does not matter really that she has pretended to be black. Though if she has claimed to be black and gotten support for it such as her full ride scholarship then there may be legal issues of fraud. But I wonder if that is really against the law?

    But in the end her skin color means absolutely nothing to many of us. She can say she is purple and I will just smile and nod because some people are just weird.

    edit : actually some states ban ex-fellons from voting, so your wrong, not all Americans are allowed to vote

    agree, and if she really changed her Birth certificate to reflect African American, not sure any laws she could of broken

    they have dna test out there to determine race percentages and they found most people are mutts anyways

    IF she really thinks shes black she needs help. Shes not. I wonder about the student who didn't get a full ride to Howard because this woman took her place under the guise of being black? It could be argued she pretended to be black to go to a school where she would score higher, I mean ya never know, could be argued.

    The Spokesman-Review also reported that Spokane police records for February and March of this year showed that a hate mail package Dolezal reported receiving at the NAACP's post office box did not bear a date stamp or barcode. Postal workers interviewed by police said it was highly unlikely that they had processed it and said it could only have been put there by someone with key.

    Of course, the real Black Klansman, Ron Stallworth, actually pulled the skin scam on David Duke (Republican Louisiana House Member, 1989-1992) and his KKK, but the fictitious tv series is far more entertaining for those fascinated by such epidermal subterfuge.
