Exactly. But that don't matter, we even get blamed for hating poor people when we rally for Voter ID.
Nor did this woman who sees herself as Black even violate any NAACP standards for serving. It's mystifying why it should have some Angry White Guys in such a snit. (I bet she even groves to Michael McDonald!)
Your persecution complex aside, you do not need to "hate" anyone to erect barriers to make it difficult for them to vote. If there were an actual, demonstrable problem with elections being perverted by voter impersonators, preventative measures would need to be taken, but it's a convenient fairy tale, of course.
I would assume it will be more about angry black guys not white. Why are you assuming it is the white guys angry? Do you have something that shows that or perhaps a large number of articles written by white men complaining? Or is this strictly your way of baiting these white men?
Question is? would she have gotten the positions she did if the truth was known she was white did she purpose deceive to get those positions?
I would hopes so, if it comes to be that a person tries and does not get it because of race then they can file a lawsuit.
The requirement of being alive is another thorn in their side... - - - Updated - - - Why are you telling me that? I'm in support of Voter ID and get told that it's voter suppression because I "hate brown and poor people."
People commit medical insurance fraud to the tune of millions of $$s each year. People illegally in this country are able to illegally work. People file fraudulent tax returns with fake SSN each year. and some people still think that our voting system is immune to fraud????? People cheat. That is a fact of life. It is not difficult to get photo ID in this country. Most people already have photo ID as it is needed to drive a car, open many bank accounts, or even to use a debit card in most places. It is not "hate" or a desire to keep people from voting to think it is prudent to require voter ID. With the way the world runs today, voter fraud would be very easy to achieve. I just want to maintain the integrity of our voting system so that I am comfortable that the people WE vote for are the ones actually declared as the winner.
She looks like she buys foundation by the gallon at costco, but otherwise, not so much a trace of sister in her.
I don't know who is telling you that. Who are they, and why do you take them seriously? Erecting bureaucratic impediments to voting when there is no demonstrable justification has nothing to do with "hatred'. It's just another attempt at voter suppression like poll taxes and literacy tests.
I have to say though this is the most relevant the NAACP has been in a long time. The publicity should be a positive thing for their organization as long as there is not backlash from the African American community.
Who are they? The fact is that flashing a phony i d card at a poll nanny is no barrier to anyone who wants to cast a fraudulent vote. Of course, the empirical reality is that it is so rare, it has no demonstrable impact on elections. Tampering with bulk absentee ballots and hacking into computerized vote tabulations are, by far, the more effective methods of doing that.
All we have are media reports, and all I find indicate that she is credited with re-energizing the Spokane chapter of the NAACP, serving as chairwoman of the citys Office of Police Ombudsman Commission, and, previously, as education director for the Human Rights Institute in Coeur dAlene. If you have evidence that she did not perform competently in any of these these capacities, please provide links to such reports, and I'll gladly entertain them with an open mind, of course.
This is the part where we sit back and watch our progressive friends twist and contort their argumentation into logical pretzels attempting to explain why Caitlyn Jenner is someone to be admired while Rachel Dolezal is someone to be scorned. Should provide a few days' worth of solid entertainment value. Wally
Sure, people can use phony ID's, but it is better than someone just coming in and giving a name without ANY proof that the person is who they say they are. How do we know it is rare? We have no way of verifying anything. It could be happening on a very large scale and we would not know it. Yes, but there are ways of tracking things like that. Plus, I would think the people counting the votes would suspect something when their reported numbers do not match their counted numbers. I agree that absentee ballots need more control as well. The main claim against voter ID is that it is a burden for someone to get an ID. Do you really believe that there are a lot of people do not have photo IDs? Photo IDs are already a pretty big requirement in today's society.
When has not needing to flash a phony i.d. ever perverted an election? Why the enthusiasm for added bureaucracy that addresses no demonstrable problem? We could pretend that these heinous individuals are legion, and so fiendishly clever that they nearly always go utterly undetected, I suppose. Just as we can imagine that very wily invisible people are stealing socks whenever a pair is separated in the laundry but actual evidence is always helpful. Why would you trust those bureaucrats, and not the American voter and the local election monitors that know them? Imagining that there is a vast covert conspiracy in which sufficient numbers of coordinated voter impersonators descend on a polling place and that having to flash a fake id at a poll nanny would thwart them is a little too silly for my practical, common sense.
Sharpton apparently supports her, as well as the NAACP. I imagine after being dupped they can't very well turn on her. This way they can say they knew it all the time.
