“To establish the free fruition of such liberties, immunities, and privileges as humanity, civility and Christianity call for as due to every man” – The Massachusetts Body of Liberties, adopted in 1641

“The Puritans almost in despair, resolved to flee to the wilderness of America… [they laid their foundation] on the Bible and common sense… one generation of darkness succeeded another, till God in His benign Providence raised up the champions who began and conducted the Reformation” – John Adams, Dissertation on the Canon and the Feudal Law, published in the Massachusetts House of Representatives and The True Sentiments of America, p. 118.

“Resist with care the spirit of innovation upon its principles, however specious [deceptive and alluring] the pretexts. Cunning, ambitious and unprincipled men…attempting to subvert the power of the people, and to usurp for themselves the reins of government; destroying afterwards the very engines which have lifted them to unjust dominion” – George Washington, Farewell Address, 1796

“Beware of false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but on the inside they are ravenous wolves” – Jesus, Gospel of Matthew 7:15

“A people that become morally corrupt will soon be looking for masters” – Benjamin Franklin

“Woe to them who call good evil and evil good!” – Isaiah 5:20

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports” – George Washington, Farewell Address, 1796

“In the 13 months that I have been in Washington, I observed one thing that stands out more than anything else. If there’s one thing Republican and Democrat politicians in Washington hate the most, is when they have to tell the truth to their constituents”. - Senator Ted Cruz in a radio interview, February 2014

Welcome back to Part VI of “The Cult of Political Correctness” series. This is section b of part VI.

As we have seen in section a, the Cult of political correctness has a rival. The rival is Islam, a powerful religious and political system. There are also other rivals competing with the Cult for world domination, like Russia and China. However, in this discussion, we’ll focus on Islam.

There is something amazing and wonderful happening in the Islamic world, and the liberal news media is not telling you. We’ll also talk about that in this section.

The latest killing of five American soldiers in Tennessee by a Muslim terrorist is another proof that liberals were wrong. They were wrong when they said that after Bush leaves office and a Democrat president stops bombing Iraq for oil and if the US government would be more friendly to Muslims, they would not hate us anymore. They still hate us.

If Westerners really want to change the Islamic world in a positive way, then they have to address the problem differently. Giving them more money and preferential treatment won’t make them more peaceful and friendly toward us. The problem with Islam is not political or economic. It is spiritual and theological. Muslims center their thinking and acting around religion and spirituality. And unless we challenge their religious thinking, starting with their view of God, which is clearly distorted, things will not change.

A distorted view of God, that’s what makes many Muslims violent and fanatical. It’s not poverty, it’s not “discrimination” (with the politically correct laws, in many Western countries they have more rights than the native population), it’s not any of the silly, infantile excuses offered by the Liberal Left. It’s bad theology, that’s the problem of Islam. What they believe, influences how they act.

Christians and Jews had this problem in the past, some of them still do today, but today it’s safe to say that terrorism and violent fanaticism are very seldom in the Judeo-Christian tradition.

At this point, some may wonder why even bother with believing in God altogether or how does this affect people, as well as a culture or a civilization.

For a reasonable explanation as to why I think believing in God and taking the Bible seriously is important and relevant, read comment #320 at http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...0-so-far-west-isn-t-winning-war-islam-32.html.

It’s very common for secular liberals everywhere in Western countries, to mock Christians, to ridicule the Bible and even to make irreverent and sometimes obscene jokes about God, Jesus Christ, the Virgin Mary and other people mentioned in the Bible. I don’t like that, but I believe in freedom of thought and of speech, and I don’t intend to stop them. The secularists also make statements about religion in which they say that religion is a superstition, and that traditional religious beliefs and practices are outdated and no longer relevant. But when it comes to Islam, the same extreme left wing secularists or liberals, suddenly become pious and reverent. They don’t attack the existence of Allah or question whether Mohamed really heard the voice of the archangel or was delusional, they don’t ridicule the Quran or Koran, and they don’t say that Islam is a superstition, “outdated and no longer relevant”. They speak of Islam with respect and reverence. They hate Christians for opposing abortion and supporting traditional marriage, but they don’t have a problem with Muslims doing the same thing or worse. In Muslim countries, governments kill people who advocate abortion or other versions of marriage. Yet, secular liberals condemn Western Christians for their traditional beliefs, more than they condemn Muslims for how they treat people in Islamic countries

If this is not hypocritical, then nothing is. It’s this kind of secular hypocrisy that God hates. It’s identical to religious hypocrisy. And since history proves that God has judged nations for their religious hypocrisy, like Israel in ancient times, it is to be expected that God will judge nations for secular hypocrisy as well.

There are many who think that we should show love and goodwill toward Muslims, by never criticizing or challenging their religion. But that’s not love. If you encourage Muslims to remain in a religion that’s both false and destructive for them, you don’t love them. It’s like encouraging somebody to keep on drinking or doing drugs or eating unhealthy, because you don’t want to offend them. People who love Muslims point them to a loving God, who came to earth as a man in order to rescue or save a humanity that is perishing. Jesus Christ is that God.

You don’t love Muslims by telling them to continue believing some of the nonsense they believe, like their belief that “khafirs” or heretics, don’t deserve to live. You should make them question their view of heaven as a harem full of women and piles of food. And don’t say “It’s their culture!” when you talk about “honor killings”. It’s not a legitimate culture or religion, when fathers kill their daughters or sons for “dishonoring” the family. One of the common reasons for “honor killings” is when a son or daughter leaves Islam and follows another religion.

There’s something amazing that is happening in the Islamic world, and the liberal news media is not telling you anything about it. Thousands of Muslims have dramatic spiritual experiences and as a result, they become believers in Jesus Christ! They realize God is different than what their religion taught them. Once they understand that, everything changes for good. The way they treat their family members and other people, the way they view the West, everything.

There are many cases of Muslims who have visions of Jesus. Jesus appears to them, and He speaks to them.

    Go to http://www.morethandreams.org

Before some atheist says they are making this up or hallucinating, let’s think about this.

Why would Muslims make up something like that and become Christians, knowing that by doing this, they risk their lives? They know the sharia laws in their own countries, and they know the consequences of leaving Islam. These are called apostasy laws in Islamic countries. People who leave Islam and convert to other faiths, are usually sentenced to death or life in prison. So, why would they suddenly give up their safety, and risk everything? They wouldn’t. Unless, they have a GENUINE CONVERSION EXPERIENCE and really see JESUS CHRIST.

It’s the supernatural and miraculous intervention of God Himself, that convinces many Muslims of what the truth is. The truth about what God is like, the truth about who Jesus of Nazareth is, the truth about their religion and why it’s wrong, and the truth about what it really means to be a believer in God. What does God expect of people who believe in Him? This is one of many important questions that people should think about. They come to understand these truths as a result of their personal encounters with the Lord Jesus Christ.

In their attempt to make Muslims their allies, politically correct liberals avoid linking Islam to Islamic terrorism in the news media and everywhere else.

It was the same thing with president Obama’s statement about ISIS, when he said they are not Islamic. That’s like saying the inquisition was not Catholic. If ISIS is not an Islamic or Muslim group, then what are they? I guess they are atheists pretending to be Muslims. LOL

In countries where Islam is the majority religion, Muslims often persecute people from other religions and cultures, and treat them like less than humans. Like one girl from Pakistan once said: “If you are Muslim, they respect you like you wouldn’t believe it. If you are not Muslim, they treat you like an animal”.

In Pakistan, many Muslims use “blasphemy laws” (the sharia Islamic version of “hate crime” laws) to persecute Christians and make life hell for them. Christian women in Pakistan are kidnapped and sold into slavery by Muslims.

Christian cemeteries are also attacked by Muslim mobs and graves are desecrated. http://beheardproject.com/persecute-dead-christians-pakistan-cemeteries

Where are all those left wingers, progressives who scream about bigotry? Where are the animal rights liberals who weep for animals, but not for humans?

As I said in the beginning of this post, we have to challenge Muslims to rethink their beliefs and practices.

But before we do that, we have to change our ways and stop our own corruption and immorality.

Because Westerners allowed themselves to be manipulated by the Cult into destroying the principles which held our society together in the first place, many of them have become shallow, materialistic, hedonistic and dumb. In fact, Muslims view us as a bunch of animals who worship sex, money, success and entertainment. Political correctness with extreme social liberalism doesn’t give them any reason to respect Western society.

Is there a way out of this?

Jesus turned to them and said: “Truly I say to you, he who lives in sin, is a slave of sin. But if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed. You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:34-36).

It’s not easy to accept truth or reality as it is, rather than as you want it to be. It takes courage to face reality, and it takes God to make the world better using His ways, not ours.

Politics is a lot more nuanced than a few rivaling factions and their ideologies all vying for supremacy.

This entire thing is written with this idea that politics is a war between tribes. You have your tribe and your identity, and you don't like the outsiders. So you wrote this screed, this rant that's less "I think this is how society ought to be" and more "I don't like this other faction".

I don't think any rational human being in America would truly deny that political correctness is as bad as it's ever been.

Keep in mind, I said 'rational'.

"Political Correctness" is the buzzword right wingers throw around whenever someone tells them that it's rude to be racist in public.

Wow. You managed to pull the race card, downplay political correctness, and blame the right wingers all in one sentence.

Liberal extremists are no better than conservative extremists. You guys deserve each other.

    "Liberal extremists"

Liberals are by definition centre-left. Not at all extremist. I'm a radical leftist, anarcho-communist.

Seriously though, I've never heard anyone have a serious concern that involved the phrase "political correctness"

Call yourself what you like. I call it 'the problem'. Extremists on both sides do nothing but harm if they can't work with the other side.

You don't get it. My vision of what society ought to be is vastly different from yours. You're a moderate, you want a moderate society. You're not interested in cooperating with radical leftists and reactionary right wingers. Similarly, I want a radical leftist society and am not interested in cooperating with Reactionaries, but I'm okay with cooperating with moderates when I feel that it would make society better. Reactionaries are the same way.

We've all got mutually exclusive ideas about what society should be like, and none of us are interested in compromise just for the sake of compromising.

Political correctness is a failed radical lefts attempt to squelch free speech. The radical left lables anything they dont like as racist. That is were they become a laughing stock.

We are never going to have a nation that will forever be liberal, or conservative. Every 4 years that is subject to change.

    You need to understand that.

We've maintained a western capitalist democracy for a few centuries, I see nothing wrong with striving to maintain a collective of anarchist communes instead.

Correct. We're the type of nation where we vote on a new established national leader every 4 years. That's not even including congressional elections. You will never be satisfied with our government. We will never have a far left government, or a far right government. It will always change. Especially if for one term we have a really one-sided government, it will quickly change to something else. Radicals are fading.

Nope it's a well-understood term, even used by liberals who are against PC censorship (ex. "Politically Incorrect by Bill Maher").

73% of Americans think that political correctness is harmful.

    "PC Censorship"?

Someone telling you that they wish you wouldn't say something isn't censorship. There's no force involved.

"Political Correctness" is in reality a form of "Newspeak":
"Newspeak is the fictional language in the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, written by George Orwell. It is a controlled language created by the totalitarian state Oceania as a tool to limit freedom of thought, and concepts that pose a threat to the regime such as freedom, self-expression, individuality, and peace. Any form of thought alternative to the party’s construct is classified as "thoughtcrime"." aka "Hatespeech" https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=newspeak

Attempting to punish people in the media or have them fired for offending you is supporting censorship in practice, even if not legally.

The Miss California incident from several years back is a great example - Miss Prejean said she believed marriage was between a man and a woman and was fired - even if she broke the rules, and was a hypocrite for speaking on behalf of evangelical "traditional marriage" groups while having promiscuous sex and posing nude, doesn't change the fact that they simply looked for a reason to fire her for being politically incorrect - nor does it change the fact that Obama at one point expressed the same opinion on marriage and there was no outrage.

The Chick Fil A incident is another great example, the owner expressed his personal view against gay marriage which had no bearing restaurant chain or staff as a whole, yet people attempted to punish the franchise and harass employees - disruptive protests were staged; the Chicago mayor attempted to ban the franchise, etc.

Some liberals claimed the record profits it generated were the result of "people supporting bigotry" when they weren't - they were Americans getting fed up with political correctness being shoved down their throats - a lot of the participants in Chick Fil A day were probably gay marriage supporters themselves.

Free speech doesn't require an audience that agrees with you. You can't force people to support people that they disagree with.

Doesn't matter, trying to prevent other people from watching a show or a personality which offends you is still opposing free speech in principal if not practice.

By your same standard then a person is only "homophobic" if they support laws against homosexuality or gay marriage - it's possible not to support legal discrimination against gays but still personally dislike them.

Exactly. The liberal agenda is "if it offends me, we're banning it".

    Everything offends them...
