Your point about non-white countries continuing slavery is well taken. Here is a list of countries that abolished slavery from the mid 20th century. Slavery was legal in these countries and practiced until they abolished it.

1935 Italy abolishes slavery in the Ethiopian Empire
1936 Britian abolishes slavery in Northern Nigeria
    1952 Qatar Abolishes slavery
    1958 Bhutan
    1959 Tibet
    1962 Saudi Arabia
    1962 Yemen
    1964 UAE
    1970 Oman
Then the two countries I mentioned who made slavery a crime in the 21st century.

blacks should have been given the jobs that we instead gave to millions of eastern and southern european immigrants.

had we done that, most blacks today would be middle class.

oh, so your ancestors bought their freedom?

no, they worked it off. something that blacks could not do.

black slaves could not work toward earning freedom.

their freedom could only be bought by others

What exactly does slavery have to do with southern and eastern European immigrants? The plight of Blacks would have been far better if the North would have thought about the consequences of Reconstruction.

millions of good manufacturing jobs given to eastern and southern european immigrants, that should have instead been given to freed black slaves and their children.

these jobs were the ladder to the middle-class, that most whites have today.

this had nothing to do with Reconstruction, and was done long after Reconstruction ended.

Didn't say that Ron, however it does seem that they are rather dependent as a group upon government jobs. It also doesn't matter about your hypothesis. The world is what it is right here and now and fewer and fewer African Americans have the ability to engage in a modern world and act as as well behave independently.

For EBT cards, generational welfare, Section 8 housing and Obama phones? And do tell, how is the claim baseless since it's rather true.

Who is we? Native Americans? Immigrants who came here after slavery was ended? Latinos? Asian Americans? White people whose ancestors died having volunteeered to fight against slavery in the Civil War.

Oh, I know who. Who should apologize are any ancestors or John Brown. He was white. Slavery was his fault fault so they should apologize.

You are directing this question to blacks aren't you ?

The first owner of black and white slaves in Colonial America was a black man.

Or does he get a complete pass ?

Did You Know the First Legal Slave Owner in America Was a Black Man?

No, I was taught cultural-marxism revisionist history in school.

Yet the truth becomes racist. So liberal, so typical, so hypocritical.

They didn't sell themselves into slavery, the neighbouring societies who kidnapped and conquered them did.

Anyway, the fact that THE SLAVE TRADERS WAS BLACK TOO doesn't abolish any complicity for the Europeans. Specifically choosing to buy slaves, then shipping off to a plantation for 300 years is a pretty specific, conscious action. Also, you are clearly a racist.

Blacks make up 12% of the population yet account for over 20% of government jobs. In the inner city, the numbers get much more skewed. Get it now Ron?

I'm a literally a loss as to what you are trying to say. A public sector job is no different than a private sector job, taking the former doesn't make you 'dependant' on the government any more than you are dependant on Wallmart.

Then you might know the difference from a public sector job and a private one.

It's obviously true; public sector jobs are more readily available in the inner city, and the state has historically been where black people have won their concessions. I just don't understand what the bloody point is.

Better pay? Benefits? Collective bargaining rights? I'm at a loss here.
