That's nice. Of course since I learned over Christmas that you're probably leaving, I'm going to be waiting for you to get back.

Have you seen the thing on TV about the guy who recovered memories about being abducted to serve for 20 years in the future in defense of our planet, as a member of our supposed secret space program? His group was given an interplanetary tour in which the ceiling of the ship was made briefly invisible so that they could see a planet that the guide was talking about. Far out. The sort of stuff that is right up your alley.

Aleksander.... what do you think of this particular possible application of Multiverse Theory?

I wonder what AboveAlpha will comment on this when he gets the chance?

    Intriguing indeed!

It's fantastic, if you dig deeper into Serpo it reads like a fantastic science fiction novel...

Weather it's true or not -- well I could care less, it's an awesome story.... It would make an interesting mini-series or movie.

I was just discussing something here with a friend who was kind enough to make me a great dinner....how very limited most people are in even getting the smallest grasp upon what INFINITE means.

Back when we were kid's we were told that the Universe was infinite.....but we now know that is not so.

Years before that students did not even know there were other Galaxies and the Milky Way was considered to be the entire infinite universe.

But today we know that the Universe has a diameter of 92 billion light-years.

We can see a spot that lay's 13.8 billion light-years from Earth at the time of the Big Bang and as the universe has continued to expand over its lifetime...... today, that same spot is 46 billion light-years away, making the diameter of the observable Universe a sphere around 92 billion light-years.

And a Light Year...the distance traveled by light in a year is approx. 6 Trillion Miles.

So our Universe is VERY BIG.....BUT NOT INFINITE!!!

So I can see how some people still think of the Universe as being Infinitely large...but it's not....not even close.....not even as close in size as the size ratio of a single grain of sand in comparison to every single grain of sand existing on Earth....and the Moon.....and Mars.....AND EVERY SINGLE PLANET, ASTEROID, MOON OR OTHER CELESTIAL BODY EXISTING IN OUR UNIVERSE!!!!

Infinite.....well...it mean's.....INFINITE.....never ending.....no number exiting high enough.....thus we use a symbol that looks like the number 8 on it's side to represent INFINITY.

As Isaac Asimov has explained it, infinity is not a number but a process meaning, "it goes on endlessly".

I read a story once (it may have been The Library of Babel by Jorge Luis Borges, but I am not at all sure of that) about an infinite library having within it an infinite book. It couldn't be read because each page, when lifted, fell into an infinite number of other pages.

The nature of infinity has given me a problem with your idea of infinite universes that bleed into each other. Were that so, and even if the amount of bleeding was....uh...infinitesimal...., then would not all our measurements of any quantities be infinite?

Or am I falling victim to Zeno's paradox? Is it like the infinite number of points that are in any line, no matter how long, yet lines of definite length do exist?

I think the best way to look at it is like this.

A Baseline Reality Universal Grouping.....is like a RIVER....and Divergent Universal States of Reality branch off from this river.

There are infinite branches but some branches of the river are larger than others thus this denotes entire subgroups of Divergent Universes that are very close to being the same.

Such as one branch might hold 1 Billion Universal Realities and the difference between all of these and those of the main river is that branch an asteroid hit the earth and killed off Billions where in the main branch the asteroid missed.

And so on along the river.

But in a Multiversal System.....that has Infinite in number Universal Reality Groupings....and each Grouping has completely different set's of physical laws.....well the RIVER is representative to OUR GROUPING.....but for each other grouping....the river could not represent any of them.

Different Natural Physical Laws....perhaps so different and alien we cannot understand them.

I am reading a near death experience account these past days that is really, really scary!

It was given in 1967..... and in the time line that she was shown...… the USA was knocked out as the world's policeman........ and the world ended up dominated by the communist and Islamic world................... and the mafia would have done a far more ethical job of running the world than those Islamo- Communists did!

The U.S. along with Canada have positioned themselves to become the worlds largest exporters of Oil, Gas and Coal.

U.S. is already the worlds largest PRODUCER of Oil, Natural Gas and Coal but the key is FUSION!!!

Check out Lockheed Martin's breakthrough in Fusion Reactors.

And it's development will happen fast...real fast!!

I figure by 2025 we will see Fusion Reactors up and running.

Frankly....... I do love this idea but....... American investors should also diversify and should probably seriously consider purchasing controlling interest in...… and to at least some degree support..........the Sahara Solar Breeder project that could end up producing half of the electricity needed to light up Europe?!

The Japanese universities that have assisted up to this point............… deserve to make a major windfall for coming up with what sure appears to be fantastic technology!

What they have accomplished up until now also has what could be termed phenomenal ARTISTIC value!

What do you personally think of the ancient Islamic prophecy that in the "Last Hour"...… MONEY would be made abundant...… and the deserts of the Islamic world would be turned GREEN?

There was a plan to build 2 massive solar arrays in the U.S. deserts that would supply over 75% of all U.S. electrical demands years ago.

Environmentalists killed the projects siting the arrays would not allow sunlight to reach the ground effecting desert plants and wildlife.

Yes..... I have heard that some excellent projects were put forward to supply desalinated water to Los Vegas and much of California and yes...............… the extreme political left killed every project so far!

The only possible positive that I can think of in what they did........ is the slight possibility that extra ground water in California might.......... cause the faults to be more well lubricated.... which could play a role in some of what psychics like Edgar Cayce saw happening in California in what appear to have been other possible alternative time lines?????????

A Major quake in California is not a question of if...but when.

Smaller Quakes and tectonic plate shifts actually relieve the pressure and tension making a larger quake less likely.

    But it will happen.

    Ground water issues....it's possible.

I happened upon an article today related to Physics. Now I don't know if this helps in any way about Universal and multiversal models...

But I was wondering about what the world would be like if we are indeed at the end of physics???

There might not be a physics model that can describe the Universe. We might have just reached the end of the knowledge that humans will ever be able to use.

Maybe we need other help after all? :alientwo:

And then, since we're not inventing it ourselves, we won't be able to discover and understand such advancement in a way that can lead to a better life?

The 2 most dangerous numbers in the universe are threatening the end of physics

Dangerous No. 2: The strength of dark energy

Wgabrie...... I am of the firm belief that what AboveAlpha has written about Multiverse Theory......... is of astonishing philosophical significance.

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...osophical-implications-multiverse-theory.html

The Philosophical implications of Multiverse Theory?

    ...............

Although I don't understand very much about the specific terms that he uses...... and I certainly don't grasp the mathematics used..... almost anybody can catch onto some of the probable implications of what he writes that I quote in posts #1 and #2 at that link.

I am almost certain that AboveAlpha has given us an explanation for how time is not limited to being one straight line...... but instead time branches..... and other versions of you and I lived out life in other time lines.... and it seems that we can learn some things from what happened to them...... in those other alternate universes.

One possible implication of that is that an intelligence may exist....... that is somewhat "sentimental" towards each of us and wants each of us to have the freedom to make better and better and better and better choices............. so that we can live out much better lives this time around!???

I get into some of that theory at..... www.CarbonBias.blogspot.ca/

    Dennis,

While I was in a downward spiral, in the week coming into New Years 2015-2016, if you recall my medicine stopped working and I ended up in a Psych ward for 2 weeks...

One of the things that happened to me was that I found an article that described the facts behind String Theory, Multiversal theory, as well as their detractors. And one of the things it provided was what that meant in terms of physical properties of the Universe, of each theory, as well it provided what the actual measurement of the Universe was.

And I thought it was asking me to choose one to "make all of our dreams come true."

Well I went through the details of each of them, and I must confess that none of them seems to be the final answer. And there were both promising aspects of each as well I thought they needed to be improved because none of them describe the complete facts of reality.

I think they all need to be worked on. But also I thought maybe there's a missing fourth option that needs to be discovered to bring theory into alignment with the recorded facts of reality.

I may be incorrect.......... but I think that we will not grasp the full implications of all this until we recognize that there is an "emotional" element in this as well.

The most energetic life form in the multiverse..... would also perhaps tend to be the most artistic....... and the most emotionally connected to the creation?!

    http://www.politicalforum.com/relig...most-emotional-being-universe-multiverse.html
Could God the Father be the most emotional being in the universe/ multiverse?
Which type of project will you tend to get more involve in?

A job that you invested fifty hours of your time in over one month or a labour of love where you exerted a great deal of effort for 50,000 hours over forty years?

Every time we reach a point where our technology existing an take us no further on our quest this type of talk springs up.

Then some guy comes up with a new idea....and everyone jumps on board and say's....THIS TIME FER SURE!!

"Hey Rocky!!" "Watch me pull the answer of why we have Particle/Wave Duality out of my ass!"

"But Bullwinkle!!" "That trick never works!"

    "THIS TIME FER SURE!"

    "WOOPS!"

    "Don't know my own strength!"

Rocky......"And now here's something we hope you really like!!"

Trust me....no matter what those at CERN and the LHC think we know and have peaked out at......There are some very deep underground U.S. Military Facilities with Civilian Contractors working who are at the very LEAST 100 to 200 years or more in advancement."

I like Rocky and Bullwinkle. LOL!

Okay so long as we haven't reached the last Physics I guess the future is looking bright. We just need to develop better tools, that's all. One day someone's going to get an inspiration to take us to the next step.

    We are already there.

People just don't know about it and that includes those at CERN.
