de Blasio has again jumped the shark. He says Chick-Fil-A promotes hate against gays but has he ever made that accusation against Muslims? Or has he ever condemned BLM and Sharpton as racist haters? Where the heck does he come off as telling New Yorkers not to eat at Chick-Fil-A simply because he supports progressive special interest groups?

Chick-Fil-A has a religious background that I don't believe is forced upon their workers (I could be wrong) and de Blasio is free to patronize them or not, it's his choice. But there is no way he should be speaking out like this for no other reason than he hates the philosophy in question.

What ever happened to being tolerant of other views and opinions?

Just another example of why Trump is winning.

America is sick to freaking death with idiots like deBlasio. Totally and utterly fed up with his kind of puke.

The irony in the statement above is comical.

Na, it's just your pathetic outrage over anything with gay in the title and having the 'moral conviction' to talk about tolerance.

As long as Chic-fil-a makes great food they can count on me being a patron. One of the few places that has not once messed up an order. I dislike they are closed on Sunday but private company = they can close as they see fit.

I'm talking about de Blasio, the ones talking about gays are you and de Blasio. But as a liberal, I'm sure you approve of government telling consumers who they can buy from.

While I understand his reasoning, I doubt that the amount of people who would alter their dining habits based on the what the mayor thinks is any kind of threat to Chickfillets bottom line. Besides, a percentage of Americans have proven that it's no big deal to trample on people's rights or to deny them altogether, but quite another to threaten a chicken sandwich.

Only an overly sensitive person with effeminate characteristics would find what he said as being capable of hurting my feelings or the feelings of any normal person. That you think they would is telling.

Not a liberal, but I know by now that's your immediate retort for anyone that holds a different view from you.
I disagree with what he said but did not place a restriction on them frequenting the establishment, he stated his opinion. Or have you suddenly stopped supporting people's first amendment rights? That's odd after seeing your belief that baked goods are protected speech.

Chick-fil-A sounds pretty good right now. I know where I will get dinner tonight.

Didn't he call for a boycott? I would think that is more than just his casual opinion.

Amazing, isn't it! When you can't start a thread about a story in the news without being bashed and called a hypocrite, something's wrong.

I don't care that their CEO is some religious kook, it's arguably the best fast food chain in the country.

The last time someone started something like this Chik-Fil-A had their busiest two weeks in history. All it takes for me to go someplace is someone to tell me don't.

I ate there for the first time right after the big liberal boycott. Really good food.

Weird, no one there has ever asked me what party I was in, what social issues I supported, or anything other than what I would like to eat.

the company itself has become political, I will never eat there again.... one thing companies risk when they become too anti-political this or anti-religious that is losing customers
