Trump apparently has no clue of international matters except as it pertains to the lining of his own bank account.

Just in case you're not keeping up with the situation: Scotland just voted to stay in the EU which means it will likely leave the UK pretty soon to be followed by Wales and Ireland.

    It's on his twitter account.

There won't be a UK in a few years and Scotland will STILL be a part of the EU.

    Clueless...

I'm thinking everyone loses in this case.

The left pushed to remain and the right pushed to exit. The nationalists (right) "won" but it will be everyone that pays the bill.

There's already some serious buyers' remorse happening even for people who voted "Aye".

It was a lot more than $1,000,000. That's just the figure that Trump tosses around. Trump is estimated to have gotten between $40,000,000 and $200,000,000 from Daddy Trump.

I think you're right. On contemplation, the reaction was to the claim that Trump pulled the Tweet.

He's both too stupid and too arrogant to do that!

    ^ BINGO!

What people were watching is the total UK vote and all along Brexit was winning. Trump was in Scotland at a country club he has and tweeted that people were wildly cheering Brexit winning, specifically stating "country." I have no doubt the crowd Trump was with was cheering. Do you?

The OP is just pointless Trumphobia, like sneering at someone in Texas tweeting people were cheering Obama winning re-election, although Texas voted for Romney. Its just a stupid Trump-hating OP.

No, Trump has no clue about international affairs, and little clue about much else besides peddling his orange hair.

He came out in favor of Brexit and quickly demonstrated that he wasn't even sure what the term meant.

Now, he's doubling down on stupid, which is what he usually does.

    1) It was England who voted to leave the EU.
    2) Scotland just voted to stay in the EU.

The UK is dead, but Scotland will still be a part of the EU. Understand?

Yeah there will. The UK really can survive without paying for the socialism of Greece, Italy and the failing economies of Eastern Europe. SOMEHOW the UK will survive NOT importing a million impoverished xenophobic ME Muslims too.

Scotland can't afford to get out of the UK, but if it does so what?

The question now is whether there is a domino effect? All of Northern Europe and France should get out. Definitely Germany should, but it is unlikely the neo-Nazi Merkel government would ever allow a vote.

He's showing a stunning ignorance of the events unfolding. Particularly for someone who is running for President.

What du (*)(*)(*)(*) are you talking about?

Scotland hasn't voted to leave the UK... yet. They voted to stay in the EU which means that it's very likely that they will vote later to leave the UK.

The Great Britain voted to leave. Scotland and Ireland have voted to stay in the EU by an overwhelming margin. There will be a referendum for Scotland to break with the UK soon.

Yes with a ton of debate i am sure.. You simply can not say they are going to leave the UK and join EU.. Right before the vote yesterday pretty much everyone had the UK STAYING.

But in what form? It's likely that Scotland and Ireland will leave the UK, based on their votes in the Brexit referendum. Wales may stay or it may not depending on how the other two vote.

Says the guy that can't understand that Scots in favor of leaving the EU would be celebrating the victory, IN Scotland. SMH

You're a day late. The people in Scotland need to move out of the UK if they don't want to be in the UK. The people of UK have spoken.

Man, you just can't make that kind of stupidity up. And the OP just kept going and going and going and he's still going... I'm wondering if Scotland, as a nation state of the UK, can even leave since the people voted and made their choice. Seems like it would be equivalent to Dallas wanting to stay in the Union if Texas seceded.

There's already a push to hold another vote on Scottish independence from the UK.

Depending on when they hold it, the short term effects of the UK leaving the EU are going to be decisively negative. There's a 2 year grace period for countries that leave the EU. I'm guessing that the Scottish referendum to depart the UK will probably be held in relatively short order just as the negative effects start their crescendo. The last referendum on Scottish independence ended up 44% against leaving the UK and 55% for staying the UK. That was in 2014. That's not what would be considered a comfortable margin since, for some reason, it only requires a simple majority for an action with such a huge potential for ramifications at nearly every level.

A typo, really? You took time to respond to my typo?

    *EU, not UK.

"It doesn't matter that Scotland wants to join back into the *EU"

This is bad news for liberals everywhere, that's why he's only focused on a tweet.

So akphidelt2007; since you claim to be from Arizona, a climate that the Islamic people are use to... how many Islamic refugees do you want in your state?

Right right, the one person obama beat out in 2008 by claiming she was a racist, LOL!

    - - - Updated - - -

Screw that, I want to know how many he'll allow in his home since he's all for it. I think he should house illegal aliens and islamic refugees. One family per room. If he's truly concerned and this isn't a partisan act on his part, he'll gladly accept them.
