Clearly. I'll bet all those hundreds of thousands to millions of Scottish people that voted to leave the EU were as angry as wet hens.

    I didn't just respond to a typo.

I'll forgive the typo when you can show me where I claimed that nobody in Scotland would be celebrating this victory. I don't remember saying that.

I would have to say that this is a significant positive indicator for the Trump camp.

    He might very well win.

No, he wasn't. Call it what it is. Trump once again made a fool of himself.

And I'm a Trump voter. A Trump voter who is sick to death of his stupid tweets.

It's absolutely hilarious what Trump makes up. But what's almost just as fun is watching his low IQ voters trying to spin his ignorant comments, lol. He was not talking about some crowd. He was talking about Scotland as a whole. It's just pure comedy that just keeps coming.

You're referring to my response to akphidelt2007, not to you. He's the one that can't grasp a concept as simple as people in favor of leaving the EU celebrating in a nation state that the majority voted to stay.

You don't have one iota of a clue as to the crowd that was around him. Yet in the same breath, you call others low IQ and ignorant.

Either do you. You're just making stuff up like your boy Trump, lol. Runs in the family I guess. And you guys don't think Scotland is a country, lol.

OK. But the main point of the OP was that Trump's tweet is idiotic. I haven't seen where akiphedelt2007 has claimed that 0% of the Scottish are celebrating.

Scotland voted to stay in the EU by an overwhelming majority and hasn't voted rather or not it will leave the UK. So how did Scotland take their country back as Donald tweeted?

Probably a bunch of Trump's "yes" men.

Otherwise, somebody would've pointed out that his statement was wrong.

I understand you say this to be condescending of Trump, but this aspect of his nature, to speak his mind, is one of the most appealing, refreshing things about him. That and the behavior of the anti Trump protesters makes the decision to vote for Trump very compelling.

Scotland is not a country, it is just a province of the UK.

Trump arrived in Scotland, but he is talking about the UK.

It seems that some folks have problems with reading or understanding of simple English.

It is nice to see. Over confident and insulting. Text book signs of fear. Understandable fear given the "Leave" victory and how that equates to the American populace aligning with Trump, regarding immigration.

The second the thread went up, I understood the fear basis of it.

    Nice to see.

You set your bar very low for candidates, lol. Speaking your mind is fine if you say things that make sense. However, when Trump speaks his mind, he just shows how ignorant he is. One reason why he's the most unfavorable candidate running for President in recorded history.

Yes and meanwhile, back in April, Obama threatened to put them at the "back of the queue" if they left as far as being an American trading partner. His brilliant threat probably cinched the deal for Leave.

Scotland is 100% a country. But I agree he was referencing the UK. The irony of him using Scotland as an example of what he wants to do in America is priceless.

What a ridiculous response. If anyone is making stuff up it is you. I am sure there were many people in Scotland celebrating the fact that their country voted to break with the globalists and the international banking cabal. Trump is a horses ass, no doubt but you are making an ass of yourself by pretending that what he said was a major gaffe.

"Saying things that make sense" sounds more like "saying things that I agree with" in this context, and the your closing statement, which is based in nothing more than emotional conjecture apparently, makes it all the more probable that my interpretation of what you are saying is accurate.

I don't agree with everything he says either, but I do like that he is willing to talk to other people about things he's unclear about. All these other politicians "have a plan in place", but how can they possibly given that a large portion of what they need to plan for is kept from them until they become President of the United States? Absurd to expect these guy to know everything and ludicrous for you to actually believe these guys when they tell you that their plan will work. You say Trump flip flops because you are used to seeing politicians take a position, right or wrong, and not budge even when given new information that changes the dynamics of the problem they are addressing. Trump adapts, and by adapting, he will overcome.

As for Hillary, I need no further encouragement to not vote for her than her response when questioned about wiping her server, to which she replied, "what like with a cloth or something?" She knew what they were referring to yet she chose to reveal the contempt she holds for judicial process. Maybe that disdain extends to the entire Judicial Branch, who knows, but she doesn't deserve to be President.

Nah, there are people I disagree with that make sense. Trump says things that are so dumb, you can't take them seriously. And he does not talk to anyone about "plans". He simply tells people that he's the best and he alone will make everything great. He doesn't listen to anyone. And he flip flops because he doesn't care. He'll say anything to pander to whatever crowd he is talking to. He even admits that. He's a chameleon. He's the wrong guy to use for what you are talking about. Being against PC or saying what's on your mind is perfectly fine, but when you say crazy stuff, you expose yourself as a crazy person. And he says some of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard a politician say. It's absolutely mind boggling that any grown adult would believe anything he says. But there's a reason why he is the most unfavorable Presidential candidate in recorded history. Obviously I'm not the only one who thinks he's a narcissistic sociopath.

The 40% or so that voted leave in Scotland was a bit over a million votes. The referendum passed by a bit over a million votes. Do the math.

    Yes, Scotland did. 2012.

Apparently. Especially since he said he had just landed in Scotland and not the UK.

So how did the Scottish take their country back?

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, November 9, 2016:

"Just arrived in New York. Place is going wild over the Trump's victory. They took their country back, just like we did. No games!"

Would anyone find anything objectionable, stupid or wrong in the statement above even if Trump lost New York but won the election? I don't think so.
