I am fairly well read, but certainly not an expert. I cannot help but agree with your claim that Israeli government supports the ISIS. The Israeli government benefits from instability in that region of the world. It's been fighting Syria for years over the Golan Heights.

 

Dov Lior speaks for himself only, does not speak for me as I am not even religious, he speaks for himself and his retinue of non emancipated Jews.

 

Okay, so you don't agree with chief rabbi Dov Lior. What about Israeli defense minister Moshe Ya’alon who says that "if the Syrian regime were to fall, Israel would prefer that IS was in control of the territory than an Iranian proxy". Do you agree with that? Do you also agree with the ex-Mossad boss who says that it's a good thing that Israel is helping al-Qaeda?

In any case, it doesn't matter how many jews live in his community. My point was that he can spew out outrageous racist garbage against non-jews without losing his position, which shows that his views are tolerated, or even encouraged, in Israel.

If a Western religious and/or political leader of a small town, be it a mayor or a pastor, were to say that jews deserve to be killed, what do you think would happen? You know the answer to that question, don't you?

Also, keep in mind that Dov Lior is just one of countless rabbis that spew out hatred against non-jews. I have exposed many of them in my threads on this forum.
