Trump will be a disaster

I lean towards conservative and I really do not like Hillary, but she is the lesser of two crooks. Trump has angered Muslims, Mexicans, China, among others with his brash comments. His rhetoric and poorly planned ideas could be the downfall of the USA started by Bush and Obama. He is a hothead with no filter when he speaks. Putin despises the US and he is supporting Trump. What does that say to you? I hope that Trump's VP pick can bring out some rationality and diplomacy in him. He has gotten away with saying some pretty off the wall things during the primaries but I doubt it's going to fly during the general election.

 

The problem is that you think the people who support Donald Trump will listen to reasonable arguments. The won't. If they did, they would have dropped their support for Trump long ago. Instead, they decided with their emotions and are now twisting facts to rationalize their poor choice to themselves.

If Trump's VP were able to exercise any control over Trump, Trump wouldn't have picked him. Donald Trump surrounds himself only with people whom he can completely dominate.

 

I think there are still undecided voters that can't decide between two (*)(*)(*)(*) sandwiches. Many weak supporters of Hillary will become strong supporters if Trump slips up and says something like telling Russia to hack Hillary's emails. I have heard both candidates accused of treason. I hope they put the debate on Comedy Central.

I think all of this talk about treason is ridiculous. There are people who I would like to see debate using a more logic, reason, and facts. I believe that Trump's press conference this morning (July 27) was harmful to his own campaign, but calling it treasonous is goes way too far.

Naw. The only people angered by Trump are progressive liberal racists, race baiters and so on. And a good deal of that anger is fake, to fool others into rejecting Trump. The dangerous one is already in the White House. He trashed the middle east, has taken a back seat to Russia and China, queered our military, perverted the marriage covenant, ignored our border laws, declared war without Congressional approval, legislated by executive order, divided the races, created a race war, emboldened criminal behavior, betrayed law enforcement and put a target on the backs of law enforcement officers. There's more...just have to dredge it up.

Why do you believe she is allowed to break the law. A friend who has a government clearance said if he had done what Hillary did he would have lost his job immediately and he doesn't even handle top secret information like Hillary does.

I think Putin is trying to stay relevant when Russia's economy is tanking by trying to bully the big bad Americans and look tough for his komrades. Putin clearly wants Trump as president because he is competitive with the US and naïve Trump can likely be manipulated and outsmarted more easily than Hillary who he clearly does not like. Hillary is an extension of Obama who he really hates (one of the worst foreign policy presidents of all time). The Cold War was a frightening time but it was a golden age for innovation and competition between the countries. Putin wants this arms race back, we do not. Whether it's Hillary or Trump, we will be playing checkers and Putin will be playing chess, that is for sure.

The Iranian mullahs on the other hand easily manipulated and fooled Obama, Kerry, Hillary and Co, Putin is still in Crimea and fueling civil war in Eastern Ukraine, Obama and Hillary are still refusing to meet the US pledge to protect Ukraine's territorial integrity..... I don't see how Trump can possibly do any worse if Assad could spit at an Obama's red line and get away with it.
