I have worked in construction for nearly 20 years and have engaged in plenty of what you call "guy talk." Never once has anyone threatened to shoot me in the head. There is a difference between ribbing between coworkers and harassment. If this is true, this guy was harassed. Admitting so does not excuse the guys actions in any way.
