ZOMG, this collective mind think is what is killing you. You believe that only if there were enough blacks to vote could they ever have power. Like all blacks and all whites vote or think the same way. What if the black slave owner thought along side with his white counter parts? If he voted and everything he voted for was what passed, doesn't that mean he had "power"? Or does it only count as "real power" when the race that is voting for something is the majority? If that's the case, then why do blacks vote at all in federal or most state and city elections since there are but only a handful of cities that blacks have a majority vote in? Your power to vote obviously is not really your own power since the majority of the country isn't black. Hell, with your logic, only whites should vote cause they are the majority and they have "real power" right? Man, how the left has brainwashed you.

 

I think the Federal government should have declared eminent domain and bought every slave from their owners at market prices, then freed them.

It would have been cheaper than the war.

Well, technically the CSA never attacked the north. Even after the first few battles where the south won and defended what they claimed as theirs, they didn't step over the line to attack the north. The CSA was ready in the beginning and if they had moved north from the start, they would have beaten the north in less than a year.
