Hahaha, the FBI comes out and tells Republicans they are not even in the ballpark of how the law works. Couple of us here at the PF knew how it works and knew this is what the FBI would conclude, but for Republicans to still come out and say he is wrong and should resign, yikes. Bringing politics in to a legal investigation is scary. Especially when you don't like their result and want to kick them out until you get someone in where you like the results. Comey was honest the entire time, they wasted over a year investigating this witch hunt and came up with absolutely nothing. Not a reasonable prosecutor would take this case. Not even recommending a misdemeanor and these crazy Repubs are still mentioning felonies, lol. It can't get any crazier than this. Good for Comey, keep telling these partisans how the law works! They need all the education possible.

Looks like he's writing a smiley face memo to employees who are losing morale over the FBI's sudden loss of credibility.

 

Nope, just giving them the truth after releasing these notes and the Republicans continue to push this issue. He knows it's a ridiculous deal and no one would prosecute it and he wants his employees to know that they have to be honest no matter how political things get. Uphold the law, not a party.

No wonder Comey is frustrated, the Republicans are completely wasting their time when they could use those resources to catch real criminals. It's not the (c) in 3 documents, it's the lie saying she didn't know what it meant even though she has viewed and created thousands of such documents. So did she lie or not? Has she ever lied?
