Then perhaps the city of Chicago should look into how to go about removing these criminals from the equation, in order to stop them from bringing firearms into the city. So long as they remain free, they will do whatever they feel like, regardless of how many individuals get hurt in the process.
Not anytime in the near future, so if public safety is truly your goal, you will start advocating for removing gun violent criminals from society.
Good luck with that: http://chicagoreporter.com/thousand...-being-dismissed-cook-county-criminal-courts/ From January 2006 through August 2013, thousands of cases involving a weapons violation were thrown out in Cook Countys criminal courts, The Chicago Reporter found. More than 13,000 cases that included a gun violation have been dismissed during that period, shows the Reporters analysis of records maintained by the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County. In fact, more felony cases involving a gun--from illegal possession to unlawful sale to a felon--have been thrown out than cases with any other type of charge.
Two things.... He wants to be reelected. The senate and house won't turn on their electorate because they like employment too. I got news..... He owns both houses, he won't need to negotiate with republicans, and he doesn't make laws, the conservative majority does.
Clearly so should you. LOL - - - Updated - - - You know he can't pass ANYTHING thru a filibuster....don't you?
I hate to break it to you....but you can be both. The good doctor who claims to be a doctor and a cop....do you believe him?
Actually, and I have, it is standard hospital practice, if you are smart, you wear two, one covering your back, one covering your front, see ? Smart ! Remember Scully ? She was a non practicing M.D. & and FBI Agent, Mulder was a Psychologist.
No, joint task force, City, State, and Federal all working together. They had lots of Medical people EMT-P4 some Physicians too.
Then perhaps the city of Chicago itself, rather than those who are in charge of running it, should do something about the problem at hand.
The united states already has strict, national legislation pertaining to all matters related to firearms. More than enough to punish and prosecute anyone and everyone who commits a firearm-related offense, and leave them confined in prison for decades. However these pieces of legislation are going ignored in nearly every single case where a firearm is involved. Constant repetition of failures, without changing variables, and expecting different outcomes, it the definition of insanity. As someone with twenty five years worth of experience in the field of psychological health, this is something you should be very familiar with.
