Obama, twice-elected with over 51% of the popular vote (first time since Eisenhower!) will be leaving office with an approval level around two dozen points higher than his predecessor.

Can his successor, not the choice of most Americans by a 2 million+ vote margin, duplicate his success?

Let's hope not. We need a president that represents all of the people for a change.

Trump has skipped all but TWO intelligence briefings since the election .. and, sent his son Donald to meet with the Syrians and Russians in Paris.

The same polling companies known to have massively donated to the DNC while donating almost nothing to the RNC crafted those polling results for Obama and for the Left and any college student knows how polling can be directed to produce the 'desired' returns. It was also revealed that Obama spent five hundred MILLION taxpayers dollars for public relations. That sort of money can BUY any sort of polling results one desires.

As for Trump; yes Trump will easily 'fill' Obama's shoes. He's urinating in them as we post.

Obama represented the radical leftist ideology of "*******N America!" and of Domestic Terrorist Bill Ayers. Interesting differences, eh?

You certainly aren't aware of American history. One of the reasons Trump is exempt from getting rid of his business is because the founders were afraid that the people from business would never go to politics. You evidently think because he's a businessman that all he cares about is his business instead of caring about America. It is a narrow view of an American you don't like because he beat his opponent who was a tool of corporations, banks, and the global oligarchy. Do you wonder why donations to the Clinton Foundation have fallen off dramatically?

No he didn't. And that statement is ignorant. What Rev Wright actually said was *******n America IF we don't addresses various injustices. But the lying right-wing media always leaves that part out.

Thanks. Same here. But it don't matter. We now live in a time when facts don't matter. The right has been brainwashed for so long that you can present proof of something like this, but the same bogus claims will appear tomorrow, often from the same person. It really is a form of mass insanity.

Their fantasy life is being lavishly accommodated: http://www.politicalforum.com/polit...kers-trumpies-into-swallowing-phony-news.html

Some like to think they are "rigged!" - especially when they suspect they aren't going to like them.

    Some context:

    Reagan 1980 - 50.5%
    Reagan 1984 - 58.8%
    Bush 1988 - 53.4%

    http://ropercenter.cornell.edu/polls/us-elections/popular-vote/

Obama lost nearly 2% of the popular vote on his 2nd term, whereas Reagan gained over 8%. No President since at least 1940 was able to gain this much support in their 2nd term.

They must have updated/reversed the definition of 'success' in the dictionary.... and this bull about 2+million votes is really tiresome. It doesn't matter. The Electoral college is the law of the land. Get over it.
