If this girl had my parents she'd be in trouble for allowing herself to be put in a situation where she needed to be slammed. When I was in grade school a nun slapped my pretty hard, when I told my parents they said they were disappointed that I would do something where a nun felt it was necessary to slap me.

Cops are patrolling our school halls, WTF went wrong with society?

She "needed to be slammed"? Do you want to give that statement some more thought? This is a small CHILD we're discussing, not some 300lb criminal thug. Earlier someone posted that she might have spat at the cop; as if that were some sort of excuse for his violence against a defenceless little girl!

Actually there are, depending upon where you live. I read the link. Propaganda with a predetermined outcome. Provide the peer review and we might talk about it. You can't dismiss drop out rate, low college acceptance, low standardized test performance or school ratings, which are predominately low to dismal. It would be even worse if some of the HS's have students up to age 20.

Your personal opinion on this so-called 'propaganda' is noted. What peer review? Reports like this don't do peer reviews. That happens in scientific circles when articles are published in 'Science' precisely for that purpose.

If it's a paper published by a University it is peer reviewed. PERIOD. Otherwise I suggest you look into the process a bit more closely.

Or she could have been trying to break up the fight, oh that's right black folks are bad people so anything she gets she deserves in your mind.

What could justify a grown man picking up a 100lb unarmed girl and slamming her to the floor.

Didnt this happen like 2 years ago? Or is this a different incident?

Ok watched the video. See it's a different one. Anyway to respond to the ops foolish statement. No. I will not just blindly defend this man for his actions. However I will ask that YOU actually post a source that contains the FULL video, not just this 8 second clip that shows us the parts you WANT us to see. What happened leading up to this? Why was that not included in the video? Obviously the kid was recording prior to throw down so where is this footage. In other words, why are you afraid of telling the whole story? These are things that people who have this thing called common sense ask.

Nothing; unless you're a white conservative of course with a barrage of excuses. 'She might have spat at the cop' was a classic.

What exactly do you need to know? Was the CHILD carrying a weapon? Did the CHILD threaten the 'cop' with violence? If the answer to the above is 'no', and given that no charge has been brought against the CHILD I suggest that 'no' is the right answer, then nothing remotely justifies a grown man throwing a little girl to the floor. Nothing.
Perhaps you could tell us what you imagine the 'whole story' to be-you know, the story that justifies a grown man throwing a CHILD to the floor and dragging her around like a doll.

Continuous aggravation from being around children that think even their own parents haven't the authority to tell them what to do!

Clearly the guy needs another job well away from children. If teachers can manage 'continuous aggravation' so should a cop. Isn't that what they're trained to do?

No, that's documented, for starts Law enforcement is the 4th most stressful occupation there is, that's an old figure I'm assuming it's higher today with all the "Kill a cop" luvers! It's no secrete what our public schools are like today, just youtube "Teacher attacked"! Look I'm saying he was right, but something "gives" sometimes and we have all experienced it. I know in my heart of heart I haven't the patience to deal with todays youth!

Take another look at the video, she wasn't slammed in the manner you'd like us all to think. Plus she got up and walked away. So where's the problem?

Looks pretty crazy, but I'd like to see the before and after. Seems we always get these curiously cut snips.

    Need more video.

I agree, then we would have to address the issue of under staffed Law Enforcement personal and those we have stretched thin. People turn a blind eye to fact that co-operation goes along way in these situations. These children are seeing their peers defy law enforcement and other authority's and think they too can simply do as they please and when confronted simply go ballistic and it will go away.

Another thing driving civil disobedience is the new familiar "Aaaaayaaa, you gonna get paid YO!" and a flop and a edited pic recording that never shows all the circumstances leading up to the terrible man do'n a terrible thing ;)
