One habit Trump says he will keep as president: tweeting

One has to wonder if Obama's presidency would have been better with less golfing and more tweeting, just wondering.

 

How can Trump keep from getting his Twitter account hacked being such a prime political target? I don't use Twitter so I don't know their security, but it seems to me that everyone would be gunning for bragging rights to take out Trump's Twitter account.

It most certainly does matter. In fact, it's one of the things that matters most.

It's also the rock that right wing assertions about Assange's nobility crash against.

It is very clear that the people who fed Assange were targeting specific entities for purposes of their own political gain and to weaken a rival (the United States).

Of course they did not target the Trump campaign. All they really had to do was ask Paul Manafort, or any of the Russian bankers and gangsters who have done or are doing business with Trump..

They certainly weren't going to harm the campaign of a potentially useful idiot.

Well, he is eliminating the press corp room from the white house that has existed since Teddy Roosevelt. And if you don't have concern for that remember, the people he is kicking are Anglos. And Trump is not a true Anglo, he's Scot/Irish. So, we have a Scot kicking out true Anglos and Germans out of the white house.

Trump is really not a careless person.

 

You know, posts like these are the things that just divide us further and hasten the coming end of our country, IMO. You are just inciting anger in those who hold different opinions, and there is no way to really get rid of those people you don't like. Also, they have a vote too, and although they didn't win this time around, politics in general swings back and forth constantly.

I didn't vote for Trump. But he is our next president, so I'm willing to give him a chance to prove to us he will be good for the country.

Are you willing to just let this anger go, and not go around inciting anger and resentment?

What divides the country is a bunch of titty babies in congress refusing to attend the inauguration of a lawfully elected president because they claim he is "illegitimate".

 

Were you on vacation for the past 8 years? Were you living at the bottom of the sea during the length of the election? Or are you just completely oblivious to the way the left has been treating everyone that doesn't conform to thier specific PC SJW philosophies? The left has certainly earned every ounce of hate they are receiving right now. No sympathy for them and based on the way the left has continued to act since November, despite this attitude being one of the leading contributors to thier defeat, with actual attempts to disrupt our democratic system and refuse to accept the duly elected president of the United States, it is clear that we are way past unity.

The right essentially had the biggest brain fart in history, not once, but twice, because a black Democrat with a funny last name was elected and re-elected. They called him everything from a foreign born muslim, to an anti white racist giving minorities free stuff from "white tax dollars", to blaming him for every crime committed by a black person anywhere in the entire world, to claiming he's responsible for the death of police officers, etc. Hell, Donald Trump only became a birther because he knew how many right wing idiots believed such tripe, and he rode that nonsense all the way to the presidency. None of this is even taking into account all the nasty and racist things that are still said about his wife to this very day.

So don't give me that crap about "hate" when your ilk has been spewing hate about Obama and his wife since the moment they heard he was running for the presidency. After that way your crew acted towards the Obama's for the past 8 years...Trump AND his wife are fair game, and they will likely receive a verbal thrashing that will send your thinned skinned president to twitter every night whining about "Fake News" to his low information supporters.

 

That's cute. But no. doesn't work. Were there people who were racist against obama? Of course. No one denies that. But they did not represent the majority of us who, despite not liking obama, accepted his presidency. Democrats today can not say the same thing. And I don't care if you guys attack trump. I certainly didn't spare obama any criticism. It's the lefts blatant attack on not just trump but, as I already said, anyone who didn't conform to thier PC SJW bull(*)(*)(*)(*). The left has launched a war against the ordinary every day Americans that make up the bulk of the US population, not just the heads of political parties.

To some extent, yes, the actions of the people in congress are part of the problem, and yes, they do help to further divide us.

However, I don't have any control over their actions. Only my own.

Sure, there are SOME on the 'left' whose actions are really bad for us as a country bonding together. Again though, I cannot control their actions, only my own.

It's up to us to try and talk people into being more civil and looking at both sides of the situation.

After all, talk is all you really have. You cannot hurt them physically, as that is illegal. And any chances of legalizing morality to force them to do what you may feel is moral has very little chance of happening.

The change has to start with you.

 

Yes, Obama was verbally trashed by some of those on the 'right', but what affect will this verbal retaliation really have? It won't help us compromise in the government is everyone hates anyone that isn't on their side.

Trump won. And until he makes a real mistake, I think it's in our best interests as a country to keep things civil and give him a chance. Otherwise, NOTHING will improve. Neither side will compromise with the other, and things will just continue to get worse until they hit rock bottom.

Otherwise, why are we postponing the inevitable? Why not just start Civil War 2 now?

 

Oh I'm not saying you or anything. But I would say it's far more then some. And I do like your ideas about coming together and being more civil, but sometimes those things just aren't meant to happen. Unfortunately I feel these are one of those times. The world can be cruel. I think we're about to see a lot of that.

Right now, the far right thinks this Twitstorm approach is smart, mainly because they seem to admire bullying and trying to sleeze one's way past things, both of which are Trump characteristics.

But as the Trump Administration dissolves into a circus of infighting, incompetence and graft, the press will still have the field (and the facts), and Trump's Tweets will be end of the broadcast news (except on Fox). The stage is already set. Trump's own words and his campaign have firmly established him as the court jester on the throne.

His behavior since; hiding from his own intelligence breifings (because he knows what they are going to tell him), his idiotic attacks on everything from car companies to movie stars, the rogues gallery of cabinet appointments, the tantrum last week, and the non stop gloating, all form a picture. Right now the righties are reveling in it. It won't last too long.

He has already earned the Court Jester title. Now, he is condemned to live down to it.

 

No, it really doesn't matter what Russia's intention was for exposing the corrupt media and its collusion with Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party. The fact is they were exposed, and that's a good thing. Left-wing Democrats would have been incredibly happy if the Republican party would have been exposed in a similar manner. They'd be praising Russia. Of course, some among the left-wing Democrats don't seem to mind corruption and lack of transparency as long as one of theirs is in power, just like they didn't mind Obama's warmongering during the past 8 years.
