Indeed. I think Israel will take the bits around Jerusalem it wants and give nothing landside in return.

Jordan annexed the West Bank and made it part of their Kingdom.

most of the world didn't annex it, just as most of the world didn't recognize the Soviet annexation of the Baltic States.

But the Baltic States were part of the USSR, just as the West Bank was part of Jordan.

    Just like:
    Russia annexed Crime.
    Turkey annexed Cyprus.
    USA annexed California.
    China annexed Tibet.
and the list goes on and on....
border changes over time, this is a fact.

Russia annexed Crimea, and are facing very strong economic sanctions because of it.

    when will Israel face sanctions?

The difference is Israel signed the 4th Geneva Conventions and the 1907 Hague Regulations, BEFORE they occupied the West Bank and annexed part of it.

Florida? we got control of it in 1810, long before International Law was even a dream.

sorry Israel, but your aggressive action came 200 years too late

Israel denies it. It, as about the entire world claims it was only occupied.
Hence it is impossible for Jordan to handover the WB to Israel.
They can not give what the other side does not acknowledge it is able to give.

    Indeed.
By Treaty, Jordan and Israel defined part of their border as the Jordan River, leaving the WB on the Israeli side.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel–Jordan_peace_treaty
This treaty, where Jordan ceded the WB to Israel, carries more weight under international law than any declaration from the UN, and ended the controversy under international law.

    - - - Updated - - -

The USSR and Poland annexed large parts of Germany, finalized by treaty in 1991.

    - - - Updated - - -

Israel signed a treaty in 1994 codifying the acceptance of the WB into Israeli territory into law.

You are clearly unaware of the truth - the only question is if this is by choice or by chance.
In case of the latter, here is the English text of the treaty:
    http://www.kinghussein.gov.jo/peacetreaty.html
Specifically, please see Article 3 and annex I(a), which defines the international boundary between the two States.

Israel signed a treaty in 1994 codifying into law the acceptance of the WB as Israeli territory.

If that were so than Palestinians in the WB would have the same rights under Israeli law. They obviously do not have that. Besides that no country on this planet says the WB is part of Israel, according to the UN and the UNSC. That is what matters. Get with the freaking program instead of parroting the paria of society.

If that were so? I sent you a copy of the treaty.
    Did you not read it?
Do you deny the treat exists?
Do you deny it says what I said it said?

Non seq. Making the WB part of Israel in no way necessarily confers citizenship or equal rights to the people there

    Israel and Jordan do.
Their opinion, and no one else, matters as they chose to revolve the issue regarding the 1967-1994 occupation of the WB under international law as they have every right to do.

Oh it is according to its constitution that everybody is equal.

Not even Israel does. Their Supreme Court ruled that, again, in 2005.

Cite the part of the Israeli constiution that says ever one living the in state of Israel is a citizen and has the rights of same.

Clearly you did not read the treaty I linked to, where the states of Israel and Jordan agree upon a border, with the WB residing in the state of Israel.
Do that and get back to me.

Citizenship has nothing to do with equality under the law. The WB is under military law and not under the civil law of Israel.

Exactly what do you not understand that the Israeli high court, the highest court on these matters, has ruled it's occupied? I mean seriously, you claim the Israeli high court are too amateur to know about laws and treaties made? And that is .... because you say so? What a preposterous opinion lol.

    this is false

the treaty never states that the West Bank will be a part of Israel.

    - - - Updated - - -

oh, so you accept Israel becoming an Apartheid regime?

    - - - Updated - - -

    again, this is simply false

    its not true.

or in Trump's world, it is "alternative facts". Otherwise known as a falsehood.

if this is the case, how come only a very small part of the WB is under Israeli civilian law?

and if this is the case, that means Israel IS an Apartheid regime, as the Arabs of the West Bank have not been offered citizenship or Permanent Resident status.

Israel should face immediate international sanctions for being an Apartheid/racist regime

Ah... you -cannot- cite the part of the Israeli Constitution that says everyone living the in state of Israel is a citizen and has the rights of same.

Why you think Israel did not accept the WB as part of the state of Israel when I provided you the text of a treaty where both Jordan and Israel explicitly agree to that very thing?

The Israel-Jordan peace treaty does NOT state that the West Bank is now part of Israel.

Israel has not put the West Bank under Israeli civilian law.

Israel has not offered citizenship or Permanent Residency status to all the inhabitants of the West Bank.

that means the West Bank is NOT a part of the State of Israel.
