No, Pakistan is and has been a worse case due to its ready and continued involvement in war over disputed territory with India, the shaky grasp the government has had it its internal battle to stay in power and the continued presence of politically powerful terrorist factions within Pakistan. Iran is not like that.

What I think you are missing is that every nation has leadership that wants to stay in power. Iran is NOT an exception. Pakistan is not an exception. Leaders of nations see their leadership position as important both to themselves and to the nation. They aren't terrorists, ready to blow up what they have been dedicated to building. And, no nation's leaders think they will stay in power if they actually use nuclear weapons.

Iran has leadership that is highly oriented to having affect on regional policy in line with it's size and power, while providing security for Iranians. They aren't suicides.

 

Let's put this into perspective. Ignoring all the American Nationalism in this topic. Obama wasted nearly 8 years on a policy with Iran that the Russians used for their own advantage. Russia continued to build nuclear reactors. Sell weapons. While Vladimir Putin signed a piece of paper which Obama waved to the world like an excited child on Christmas day.

Now President Trump has destroyed Obama delusions by ending the policy. The Iranians are using it as a pretext to continue arming themselves from the Russian industrial complex who never stopped selling them weapons. With reports of Iran dumping the dollar for a union with Chinese\Russian geopolitical policy.

Who won from all this? Not America. Who seem in a state of panic, being hysterical over one missile test.

 

What I find to be hilarious is all the rhetoric by the Iranian Leadership and Iranian supporters who constantly spout off about how the U.S. Navy would be easily destroyed within the confines of the Persian Gulf!! LOL!!!

The first thing is if the United States Navy had to perform a strike against Iran it would do so well out of the range of any tiny little fast Iranian speedboats or missiles.

The strike would begin most likely using U.S. Air Force Stealth Bombers and Attack Aircraft such as the B-2's and F-22's as well as the massive amount of U.S. Electronic Warfare Jamming which would render Iranian Early Warning Detection worthless as well as U.S. Cyber Command's capability of shutting down entire Iranian Power Grids and let's not forget Wild Weasel Aircraft which would come in and launch HARM Missiles which follow any enemy radar broadcast to it's source and destroy them......well.....it is just a freaking JOKE!!!

The F-22's and B-2's would fly into Iranian airspace at night completely undetected by Iranian radar or any Iranian early warning system and wipe out Iranian Command and Control as well as obliterate any threat to the U.S. Navy.

THEN......the U.S. Navy working well out of range of anything Iran still had left to throw at them would begin the process of destroying all Iranian Military Targets.

At the exact same time as that and right after the initial B-2 and F-22 attacks 10's of thousands of U.S. Rangers, Special Forces, Special Teams and CIA Teams would be inserted around any and all Iranian Nuclear Facilities as these facilities would have to be SEIZED not destroyed as to destroy them would kick up so much radioactive dust into the air it would poison the entire region.

The U.S. Air Force and Navy would continue the complete obliteration of all Iranian Military Targets and BEFORE began destroying entire Iranian Mechanized Divisions and before we began wiping out Iranian Infantry barracks with the possible exception of the Iranian Republican Guard as they are fanatical to the Iranian Religious Leadership and we would most likely target and strike them in the beginning.....but for the Iranian Regulars.....

.......for them U.S. Military and Agency PSYOP's Teams would begin dropping millions of leaflets demanding their surrender and detailing out the process of surrender as far as where they should go to gather and how to leave their weapons before we would begin the process of striking those Iranian Regular Army and Military Personal.

There is one unmitigated FACT that most Iranian supporters and Iranian Religious Fanatics just cannot seem to understand and that FACT is this......

..........if you are some 18 to 25 year old Iranian KID who is in the Iranian Army or Air Force...etc.....and you are woken up in the middle of the darkest moonless nights by massive explosions and the roar of U.S. Military Aircraft and Missiles flying over you and the power to your base and barracks has been cut off due to U.S. bombing and as you look into the eye's of your commanding officer you see the absolute fear and terror he has as he cannot communicate with his superiors as command and control has already been destroyed and then all of a sudden you hear the roar of a U.S. Jet DIRECTLY OVER YOUR HEAD and then hear a MASSIVE EXPLOSION.....and what I am about to detail right now is EXACTLY HOW WE IN PSYOP's have done this in the past.....as this massive explosion hits am ammo dump or perhaps several aircraft bunkers and then right after LEAFLETS by the MILLIONS begin floating down from the sky and they are written in Farsi and English and you catch one leaflet as it floats down to you and you read it and it say's....

.........THOSE BOMBS JUST DROPPED COULD JUST AS EASILY BEEN DROPPED ON YOU!!!!!

But then at the very bottom it will get serious again and probably say this......

The basic idea and of course we in PSYOP's will tend to use things in such a letter that is specific to the region or area as an example if we were by some insane reason targeting a division of men based in New Jersey and we knew that the soldiers on their off days would head to the Jersey shore say Atlantic City to go gambling then we might use a phrase such as......"If you fail to heed this warning your fate is sealed like a black jack player at the Taj needing a 4 or lower when the house has an Ace showing and what is left of the 5 deck stack is all face cards. It will not matter if the player gambles to win by asking for another card.....the HOUSE is going to win.....the house always wins....so you can pull another card if you want and die with it.....or you can stay pat....watch the house pull a face card to win.....and then be COMPED by the house with food, drink and a room."

Point I am trying to make is we try to build associations in the mind of the reader of the leaflets as NOTHING is both more soul crushing as well as hopeful as when one of our enemy combatants who KNOWS.....absolutely KNOWS they have no chance and are going to die....as I don't care how tough a person is if your on the ground or on a ship and all of a sudden you wake up in the middle of the night to massive explosions and U.S. Aircraft roaring overhead and you had been watching the news and reading and know your nation or group is at odds with the United States and YOU are one of the idiots who happens to be holding a gun in your hand........so as soon as you wake up you KNOW what is going on basically and you KNOW you are most likely going to die as this is the United States attacking you not some 3rd world nation.....and then you catch a falling leaflet and you read it.

And not only does it have pictures of human bones on it and it tells you that if you don't surrender your dead but what REALLY SCARES YOU.....is you read it and the damn leaflet has THE NAMES OF ALL YOUR OFFICERS AND EVEN SARGENT'S on the damn thing so your head really starts going and your freaking out thinking to yourself....

....OMG!!! Not only could they have just killed me as they bombed the ammo depot instead but they could have just dropped bombs on the entire base killing everyone...killing ME.....not only that BUT THEY KNOW OUR NAMES!!

And then if we have done our JOBS right by adding in some things that make the reader identify and make associations just like a soldier who goes to Atlantic City when he get's a pass will ABSOLUTELY FREAK when he reads a leaflet demanding his surrender that KNOWS things about the area he is stationed in and the customs and anything that is PERSONAL to the group of men stationed there.....well.....THAT.....is how you get ENTIRE DIVISIONS to just stand down and surrender!!!

Also we have to make sure we allow them to keep a little pride as if you push too hard some will fight you even knowing they will quickly die out of spite.

Saying things in the letter such as......

...........THERE IS DO DISHONOR SURRENDERING WHEN TO FIGHT WOULD BE THE SAME AS SUICIDE.

THERE IS NO DISHONOR IN SURRENDER WHEN WHAT YOU WOULD BE FIGHTING FOR IS THE CONTINUANCE OF THE OPPRESSION OF YOUR OWN PEOPLE BY A NON-DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED LEADERSHIP.

THERE IS NO DISHONOR IN SURRENDER WHEN YOUR DEATH WOULD SERVE NO USEFUL PURPOSE.

It is one thing if a nation ALREADY has developed all on it's own Nuclear Reactors and Weapons and can enrich Uranium all on it's own but.......when a nation like Iran goes and signs the NPT and they are oil rich thus Nuclear Reactors for electrical power really are not cost effective for Iran so they sign the NPT to be able to BUY Nuclear Reactors and Reactor Grade Nuclear Fuel...etc......for WHAT????

The NPT is the mechanism by which a nation like Iran which does not have the technological capability to develop nuclear reactors and technology to sign the NPT and then be able to BUY that Nuclear Tech and Nuclear Fuel!!!
