When most of the media get their marching orders from the DNC and they follow them the press is not a friend of the people.

Wow, how about a link or some backup for these assertions. Off-the-cuff remarks like this detract from any credibility.

The most dangerous place on earth is the 20 feet of space between Lindsey McCain and a Legacy/Left Media microphone.

Yeah, trump apologists don't like people who actually serve this country and care about the well being of Americans. They prefer fat, cowardly, thin skinned, draft dodging billionaires who only care about enriching the 1%. If McCain hadn't picked moron barbie as VP, he likely would have made a decent president.

ABC-NBC-CBS-CNN-MSNBC-NPR-PBS-NYT-LAT-Time-Newsweek are the enemy of the people.

ABC-NBC-CBS-CNN-MSNBC-NPR-PBS-NYT-LAT-Time-Newsweek only hold Republican politicians accountable. Not so much for Democratic politicians.

While Palin did become a drag on McCain, he wasn't going to win against Obama no matter who he'd picked. I can't recall anyone floating around at the time who as a VP would have buoyed McCain up past Obama's numbers. He was seen as a continuation of Bush, and I'd say that was a pretty spot-on assessment. That and the fact that he was kind of a hawk. I wasn't happy with him either. Youth and Hope vs. Age and - well, MORE Age? McCain didn't stand a chance. And that's leaving aside the fact that his only reason for running was something along the lines of "It's my turn". No compelling reason for me to vote for him.

Best way to put it is what I found HERE:

Fox, Blaze, Drudge Report, NewsMax, etc, hold the Dems in line. None are enemies of the people, all have an important job to do in a free state and overall, they do it well.

Painting the press as enemies of the people is what Fascists do.

McCain is simply calling Trump to task. Trump has done nothing to work with the Congress and Senate. As McCain said, this is also a sign of a Dictator.

Trump and Hitler both hated the media. End of story. McCain is a hero for many reasons, including speaking out the obvious about Trump.

Did McCain ever call Obama, who notoriously bypassed Congress on a regular basis, a traitor? Of course not.
McCain is simply a frustrated war hawk and globalist lackey who opposes Trump primarily on that basis and will take any excuse to attack the president
due to his ideological snit. Who is listening to what John McCain has to say?

How, specifically, do "most of the media get their marching orders from the DNC"?

When the NYT publishes a complete transcript of Trump's press conference, are they following orders from the DNC?

I'm waiting for an historical example of a dictator that got started by calling the media the enemy of the people. Who was that, Hitler, Mao, Castro?

"frustrated war hawk" - Who's the true patriot here?

McCain: Decorated war hero, former POW, Diplomat.
    Trump: Draft dodger, Russian sympathizer.

McCain is such a jerk. He is use to be the darling of the talk show hosts but now finds himself in the position of being irrelevant. I am glad to say that I voted for Obama over McCain as I knew he was a blow hard and dangerous to world peace. Unfortunately he and Lindsey Graham will be burr under Trumps saddle and may actually derail some of the good work Trump is trying to do for America.

lol ... and Nazi school textbooks had arithmetic in the math courses. 2+2 is fascist and racist. He's a hero for one reason, his actions in North Vietnamese prisons. he's pissed that away completely and deserves no respect. He's just a grown up version of the spoiled rich kid who didn't get his way with something or other and snivels incessantly at the other kids.

McCain was in 1967. Trump is now as he won't commit the people of the U.S military to globalist wars
and he won't surrender U.S. sovereignty to globalist entities.

All the following came from just one NBC affiliate...
The chief executive of the Democratic National Committee and two other top officials have resigned in the wake of an email hack that embarrassed the party on the eve of its presidential nominating convention.

On the night Hillary Clinton accepted her party’s nomination for president, Clinton and other Democrats played loose with some facts

The president headlined the night’s speeches, and a few of his boasts of his record headline our fact-checking report

Dozens of Bernie Sanders delegates walked out of the Democratic National Convention Tuesday night following Hillary Clinton's nomination for president, and many promised to leave the political party in protest.

Undeterred by Sen. Bernie Sanders' plea for party unity behind Hillary Clinton, Sanders supporters chanting "Bernie or bust!" took to the streets under the hot sun Tuesday for more demonstrations on Day 2 of the...

Several hundred Bernie Sanders supporters and other demonstrators marched down Philadelphia's sweltering Broad Street on the opening day of the Democratic convention Monday, chanting "Nominate Sanders or lose in...

But you wouldn't know that because you just watch Fox and listen to Rush.

That's hilarious, where was the 'press' when Agent Brian Terry was killed by a fast and furious gun? Where was the 'press' when Pinocchio sent 5k troops to Iraq AFTER the war was supposedly over? Where was the 'press' when Hillary got busted over her server? The 'press wanted to execute Gen. Patreus. over less. Get real, the 'press' are hand maidens/sycophants of the left. Point 2, how is the President controlling the press? Hauling them off to camps, whacking them, no? They're still spewing their hate and lies and conducting business as usual. The media has lower numbers than congress so someone is catching on and it's not only the President.

    Seriously?
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...ladimir-putins-russia/?utm_term=.58c4f6a63c7d
Russia can be a murderously difficult place to do independent journalism; the killing of reporter and activist Anna Politkovskaya in 2006 ought to have made that manifestly clear. But journalism isn’t the only kind of speech that’s under threat in Russia. A new report from PEN America makes it clear how a confluence of laws ostensibly aimed at combating terrorism and religious hatred and protecting children have created an environment in which it’s increasingly hard to publish fiction, broadcast independent television or put on theatrical and musical productions that don’t toe an ever-shifting party line.

The report, “Discourse in Danger: Attacks on Free Expression in Putin’s Russia,” traces the way various strands of Russian lawmaking have converged into a tightening net.

A 2002 law aimed at combating terrorism “[targeted] speech, publications, groups, and ideas deemed ‘extremist,’ a broadly defined notion interpreted subjectively by officials.” Add to that law a provision of the Russian Criminal Code that criminalizes any action that might be interpreted as “incitement to hatred or hostility” or “humiliation of human dignity” based on a number of American identity categories; in the United States, such a law might be aimed at protecting members of embattled minorities, but in Russia, it empowers already powerful socially conservative religious activists. And those provisions dovetail with the Law on Protection of Children from Information Harmful to Their Health and Development, passed in 2010, which required widespread content labeling and gave government agencies wide latitude to crack down on content that might be interpreted as glamorizing violence or drug use, and a 2013 law that cracked down on content that treats gay people in any remotely positive way.

When Adolf Hitler took power in 1933, the Nazis controlled less than three percent of Germany’s 4,700 papers.

The elimination of the German multi-party political system not only brought about the demise of hundreds of newspapers produced by outlawed political parties; it also allowed the state to seize the printing plants and equipment of the Communist and Social Democratic Parties, which were often turned over directly to the Nazi Party. In the following months, the Nazis established control or exerted influence over independent press organs.

During the first weeks of 1933, the Nazi regime deployed the radio, press, and newsreels to stoke fears of a pending “Communist uprising,” then channeled popular anxieties into political measures that eradicated civil liberties and democracy. SA (storm troopers) and members of the Nazi elite paramilitary formation, the SS, took to the streets to brutalize or arrest political opponents and incarcerate them in hastily established detention centers and concentration camps. Nazi thugs broke into opposing political party offices, destroying printing presses and newspapers.
