    I believe they are, because most conservatives fight against:

    ma/paternity leave
    mandatory vacation time
    sensible employment laws

    I'm not saying the democrats are any better - they had all three branches of government in 2008-2010 and did nothing.

    But it seems that the right specifically lobbies against these issues.

    Political parties are made of politicians and they will say whatever it takes to get a vote, they will do whatever they feel like once in office.


    Lobbies are self interests. The only way to participate in politics is to band together under a particular political goal and fund a citizen lobby.

    Strange that in my long professional life and the achievements that went with it, I never considered the colour of my skin (white), as a motivator. Seems only white supremacists see skin colour as a badge of honour. And that is a very stupid thing.

    It is mostly subliminal. You are white, you see the accomplishments of other whites. You know you are part of that tradition and are motivated to live up to it.

    And it is not just white people. The Chinese and Japanese consider their race to be a badge of honor. In fact I first learned of this idea from a description of how Chinese mothers motivate their children. They criticize their children as not living up to their Chinese identity.

    It is not a stupid idea at all, but a ploy that is used by the most successful peoples.

    But the key is having a culture worthy of being looked up to. Black people also try to motivate each other with Black Pride, but a distinct lack of much to be proud of vitiates this tactic.

    The latest tactic, of which you are an exponent, is to tear down and even deny the existence of White culture. I guess it is easier to tear a people down than build another up.
