I got a PhD in Math which was a huge mistake. I should have done a Masters in Computer Science. Without computer skills and without a job I am useless for political activism.
From what I can gather, all you need is an Internet connection, & a device with which to use the Internet, & voila, you too can be a political activist.
Not necessarily. Honestly, all you'd need is a domain, & a few other like-minded folks in your circle, with better computer, or coding skills. Then you put yourselves together a snappy site, sell some ad space to organizations your ideology falls more in line with, join other sites, & spread the word, on the down low of course.... Some sites don't take too kindly to this sort of thing. Next thing you know, they're doing a piece on your efforts on the nightly news.
Seriously...your incessant beating of yourself and open dissatisfaction with your life is depressing. Just act like a man, figure shlt out and go kick some a$$. Quitcherbelliaykin'
I hadn't noticed that trend until now. Yeah, what tecoyah said.! Figure it out quick like though. It gets much harder with each passing year.
Nonsense. You're natural ability to portray yourself as a "victim" despite having had every opportunity to succeed is exactly what Democratic orgs desire most ...
There are hundreds of millions of successful people in USA, and tens of millions unsuccessful ones. Being unsuccessful is quite common.
It may be unhealthy but tens of millions of people in USA deal with failure by drugs -- which is an order of magnitude worse.
CCitizen: Father I have sinned. I got a PhD in math and now I can't support myself or my family. Priest: You stupid son of a gun you're screwed now.
You could try Youtube to get started and transition to the web for a broader audience. There are many political activist Youtubers that have a good following.
Whoopsie. Sorry about the timing of my last post. Anyway, maybe try to get old Doc to up that there dose. NE-Way, gotta jet to my crumby job. Ciao for Now.
The issue here would be what you perceive as success. It would seem your focus is financial which indicates inexperience and youth. As you get further down the age/experience road you will find the actual measure of success to be love, happiness, and the ability to recognize that they both come about through controlling the most powerful force in this life......your own mind. Only YOU get to decide what makes you happy...and only YOU are to blame when you are not.
I am much more successful then tens of millions of people in USA who became drug addicts due to disability, and millions of disabled Americans who became prisoners, and 50,000 Americans who die from overdose every year. Unlike Scandinavia which provides help for everyone, USA fails tens of millions of people.
I apologize for wrong framing. If someone earns very much they may be unhappy. But if someone does not earn basic minimum they can not be happy.
Weird...I have MS, cannot work, have no income, will probably die in the next decade and there is no cure for my condition. Yet....I am happy.
