That's irrelevant when the numbers are so small as to be statistically insignificant. The entire point is that the numbers VPC uses for its "analysis" are so small as to be essentially statistically zero.

When I was being raised in West Belfast more children were killed by security forces than by accidental or otherwise gun death. Anyone shooting a child, raping a woman or preying on the old and defenseless wouldn't be long for the world, regardless of the alliegance of the shooter.

 

I find this quote quite telling.

Analysis by the Violence Policy Center has found that at least 29 mass shootings since 2007 were carried out by perpetrators with concealed carry permits. That’s more than three times the number of concealed permit holders who prevented mass shootings through their swift action

 

You can never know how many mass shootings were presented by CCP holders. If a bad guy was stopped before shooting 4 people, thus falling into the mass shoooting category, there is no way to know if that shooting didn't prevent additional victims; the threat was stopped which is the purpose, so no conclusions can be drawn except to support VPC's already strongly biased narrative.

 

If a CCP holder is quick enough a threat is minimized before victims pile up.
