Two States, West California, East California

If things work out it will be on California's ballot in 2020.

Dividing California into two states.

The Peoples Socialist State of West California and the Republic of East California.



I kinda like the idea and the boundaries of the new state lines being proposed. All of the fruits, nuts, liberal loons, progressives, hate and blame America leftist, snowflakes and socialist and Marxist would reside in The Peoples Socialist State of West California and the American patriots, conservatives, law abiding citizens, would reside in the "Republic of East California."

Los Angeles County would be the most southern county with in the The Peoples Socialist State of West California while Orange County, San Bernardino County and Riverside County would be established as the new state lines keeping the stench, crime and illegal aliens out of The Republic of East California.

If things work out as planned, liberals, progressives, anarchist, snowflakes, illegal aliens will flee from The Republic of East California seeking a safe space in the The Peoples Socialist State of West California

This would also give the Republicans two additional Senators in Congress.

 

Interesting idea. Democrats will never go for it if it means 2 more Republican Senators.

 

This is one of the stupidest ideas I've ever seen. I'm guessing we'll be dividing up Florida and Texas and New York next? Or how about we slice Pennsylvania into two while we're at it, the liberal Pittsburgh and the conservative central valley? I mean, everyone knows there's no value in being American anymore, but if you're going to nit-pick states leaving the union, do it on a non-partisan basis. Get rid of sewer rats like Nigel Farage and Marine Le Pen. What's next? Texexit?

America is showing complete stupidity right now. Anyone approving this idea obviously does not know the repercussions behind the idea.

The Republic of East California will control most of the fresh water and the Central Valley is where most of former California's agricultural is located and Jerry Brown and the liberals tax on cow farts will be repealed, so it looks like the cattle and dairy industry will be remaining in The Republic of East California.

The Peoples Socialist State of West California will only have artichokes, grapes to supply the wine for liberals and winos and Humboldt County's marijuana.

 

Only if liberal loons like we have here in California screw up Texas or Florida I doubt you'll be seeing any other states becoming two states.

Things are really bad in California today. Liberals have really screwed up California big time.

Ever since Jerry Brown first became Governor in 1975 we watched California going from being # 1 in everything in America to being last or close to last be it education, roads and highways, personal freedoms, being business friendly etc. From some of the lowest taxes in America to the highest taxes in America. The liberals even tell you what kind of light bulb you can use and what kind of toilet you can rake a crap in.

Dividing California into two states has been debated more than a few times after liberals started screwing everything up but it was always a Northern California / Southern California. This time the new states boundaries are established by political ideology.

Those who like over crowding, high taxes, who don't cherish personal freedoms and the rule of law and want government to tell them how to live their lives would love a socialist East California.

 

Looks like conservatives need a safe space.

 

Don't bother, Apacherat, soon California will secede "naturaly".

This country was torn asunder along whatever based lines you'd wish to draw, right about the same time we learned about Hanging Chad.

 

Of course ... there are very many differences in American society, which cause divisions. Only, it is the task of the government and the president in Washington to close the indisputable digging ... not digging the trenches deeper!

America was divided more than a few years before Trump decided to run for President.

America was pretty much divided by 2010.

On paper Barack Obama as President is a complete failure, completely incompetent.

But Obama along with Valerie Jarrett and the Alinskyite radical left actually believe that Obama was the most successful President in history. Considering what Obama's agenda was, he was a success.

Look at Obamacare (ACA) it was designed to fail.

Obama is a community organizer, an Alinskyite and a student of the "Cloward-Piven strategy." What do organizers do ? They agitate, cause trouble and divide society.

Unless you live in California and have lived in California for thirty or forty years you wouldn't understand what has happened in California.

California is out of step with the rest of America.

Somebody did some research on creating a "The Peoples Socialist State of West California" and "The Republic of East California."

 

This all looks very ridiculous to us outsiders. First it's waging petty economic battles with other states because they don't have the same laws as you guys. Then, it's Calexit. And now Calsplit? What's it going to be next?

 

That dividing line looks like the Fault. So, if they get the big one, looks like the Faux Liberals will be drastically reduced in numbers as their part of Ca falls into the pacific.

Some Jerry Falwell Christians would truly believe God once again got rid of another Sodom and Gormorrah.

Ca will continue to have insolvable problems, unless trump cleans out the rat's nest of illegal aliens. Ca could otherwise turn into Mexico with its gov't corruption, right down to the police.

 

What are the repercussions of this idea? It's not like we have not done this before. Virginia-West Virginia and Massachusetts-Maine for example.

 

We need to start with DC Statehood (and then dividing it into 4 quadrants--each a separate state).

 

All the tech giants are HQ'd in Silicon Valley, which is closer to San Francisco while all the media conglomerates are HQ'd in Los Angeles. Then you have Sea World, Disney World in San Diego, and Universal Studios Theme Park in Hollywood that drives in a good amount of tourism. The separation of these states would present a great disadvantage to either side. California has become too industrialized as a whole to be cut into two.

 

I'll admit, I totally don't understand your complaint. We're just talking about splitting states, not secession.

 

I know, and I'm talking about the inherent repercussions that come from doing such.

Southern California would suffer from the lack of benefitting from the revenue the tech giants make, and Northern California would suffer from the lack of revenue that all the attractions in the south racks in from tourism. Hollywood would be a not-so-good loss for Northern California. You would need to convince Disney to come up north to get back some of the lost revenue.
