    LOL, this is the reason:

Now think carefully. It has been reported that everyone in Russian diplomatic circles is a 'Russian agent'. That means that anyone and everyone in government that talked to a Russian could end up with a FISA warrant, including Hillary's team and every Congress critter.

To get a warrant without a crime, through that secret court is a violation of the Fourth Amendment. Unmasking them was ALSO a violation. That's not even mentioning whether they were authorized to release it anyway, just the very simple unmasking was a crime.

Let's wager a bet: Someone from the intelligence community being indicted, or Trump-related officials being indicted. I'll wager there'll be some people taking the fall for the "intelligence community", possibly within the next few months.

Yeah, are you unable to differentiate between trump claiming his place was wiretapped by Obama and a FISA courtorder by the FBI on a trump member talking to a Russian agent. Do the two correlate to you?

It's not a question of whether there was a crime.. As per the OP, The FBI and the Justice Department obtained the warrant targeting Carter Page’s communications after convincing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court judge that there was probable cause to believe Page was acting as an agent of a foreign power, in this case Russia, according to the officials.

So what, are you claiming that their probable cause was bunk? If so, then on what basis?

On the basis that they've yet to charge Mr. Page or anyone for that matter. We don't know how they convinced the FISA Court, but it's widely suspected to be that laughable dossier.(The one of a perverted 70 year old Trump with golden showers and hentai ROFL.)

I know you don't realize this, but to anyone with a critical eye, the FBI is at best rendered impotent to at worst engaging in nefarious political activity. To anyone with a critical eye, this stopped being about the Russian Conspiracy Theory along time ago.

The dossier that's been increasingly shown to be accurate, you mean?

Until some liberal Presidents stacked the courts with liberal, activist judges who legislate from the bench and changed the definition of the word "speech" >"the expression of or the ability to express thoughts and feelings by articulate sounds."<
Now the legislating judges claim that physical actions like violence, arson, assaults, looting, breaking windows, etc. are now freedom of speech to further a leftist agenda.

The radical left has a long history of changing the meaning and definition of words to further a political agenda.

Now all scary looking black guns are assault weapons and using words like gook, radical Islam, wetback, oriental, queer is no longer free speech but hate speech.

Getting one or two names right isn't "shown to be accurate". It's the whole 'A broken clock is right twice a day'. That's the problem with our intelligence agency getting SECOND HAND information. There's a whole lot wrong with this picture that has no Russian Conspiracy issue. Our intelligence agencies are falling for conspiracy theories, that's the last thing we need.

I think they're much better informed about conspiracies, real or otherwise, than most if not all monkeys arguing about these things on forums.

There are a heck of a lot more than a few names. The timelines have all fallen into place so why not support the FBI while they investigate treason at the highest levels. How can this hurt the USA? :)

MSM has resorted to regurgitating old stories, infused with fresh inuendo. Trump hasn't yet completely drained the swamp, but he's plugged the MSM leaks. The article itself reveals Comeys determination to find evidence of "something", by "whatever" means necessary. Page, who was unsuccessfully "recruited" by agents embedded in the Russian energy sector, cooperated, and helped the FBI secure a conviction in 2013. Fast forward to 2016, and the only FISA warrant Comey can justify, is one predicated on Pages involvement in a case previously adjudicated. Page wasn't charged, he was unaware of the agents state ties, and he worked with the FBI to dismantle the Russian spy network. Comey wanted surveillance, and Page was exploited to obtain a FISA warrant. No doubt Comey will contend that limited surveillance, "incidentally" captured his "trove" of contrived inuendo. Comey is a co-conspirator.

It's an interesting tight rope the left are traversing today. They are dancing that there was a FISA warrant, and are fully embracing the innuendo of impropriety that it produces. At the same time, when pressed, they have to admit that nothing substantive has been produced, and to date, no criminality has been alleged. So, they rejoice in the story, and lament that the story doesn't have substance.

The pressure is on Comey. Both congressional committees are calling for him to appear, present his "evidence", and justify his collection methods. Susan Rice, likewise. Committee members are alleging Comey is dragging his feet. The Senate committee says Comey has yet to produce documents related to "fast & furious", precluding the committee from making any substantiated findings. Comey is either the model of inefficiency, or he's hiding something.

The leftness still can't figure out if the FBI had something, they would have charged Page already.

Because it the only way Trump voters can live with their stupidity? Heck, Page might actually be working for the FBI as a double agent......but he sure was a Russian foreign agent as well.
