So, the two candidates, Macron and Le Pen are going for the second round of the French elections to be held on May 07-th, 2017. Who is going to be the president? Do you expect any surprises?
What do I think? Le Pen looks much more "presidential" to me than that "gringo" Macron. :fishing:

Macron will win. He have a huge advance and most important political representants of the right and the left called to vote for him. The far left wait for a vote of their militants.

The only unknown would be if some foreign government intervened, maybe dumped some alternative facts on Macron. Even then , most French people hate everything Le Pen stands for.

She get more and more electers, slowly but surely. As a french, I consider that it's extremly unlikely she could be elected today, but it seems to me too unlikely she will not be elected one day or another.

Yep. European Central Bankers' stooge, all the way. Macron is a career investment banker who has never held a government post in his life. He won't need to worry, though. The ECB, the EU, and the IMF will be only too happy to tell him EVERYTHING that he's to do. He won't need to think about what he's doing AT ALL. :icon_picknose:

Now is the time for the French to get to use that French shovinism. Unlike Germany and other European nations, families still have 2 or 3 children. Just think about what would happen if you don't take action and let France become a muslimic craphole like some countries have already become - the future of those kids is jeopardized.

    Be shovinistic NOW! :boxing:

Yes, the complacent political and establishment 'born to rule' elitists, the Brussels jobsworths who are running scared, and the banks who want favourable fiscal policies, will join forces against Le Pen, so unfortunately she doesn't stand a chance of winning. But then hey - 'Brexit' and 'Trump'? Let's hope she'll be the third unexpected result because she's the last hope for the French to save their culture.

People start to have fewer children and it's an average. The main problem is dealing with the unintegrated muslims. We have already rather restrictive immigration policies. The problem is not the chinese who come to study or people from russia or poland.

We have to do our best to assimilate the muslims populations. They are too many "ghettos".

They can't be forced to assimilate if they don't want to?

And? What is the issue now? Nothing...

Does the link tells the full truth too? No ... because Multiple crimes done by one and the same criminals are not separated or marked in any issue. What do I mean?
    Simmple...

Mohamed A., "evil Muslim" from whatever ME country raped 100 women then this statistic tells that there is an increase of 100 cases!

    Also ...

"The number of German criminal suspects fell by 3 per cent to 1.4million"

Wrong! The minister told on his press conference that the number raised for 2%!

What is left from your link now? Nothing aside BS! Topic closed, next one please!

Good, because the topic of this thread is "the next French president", not "How Germany betrayed Europe".
    Moving along.

I think LePen will surprise everyone including herself, just as DJ Trump did.

    Not a chance.

LePen is going to get blown out.

No comparison to Trump at all.

LePen is too far behind to make up that kind of ground.

Most of them are willing, the
I don't like Islam, but you should stop to demonize them. Their is all types of muslims, the big problem is when a muslim turn to be someone wrong, this religions seems to amplify those tendancies rather smooth them.

    How I would do :
_ At the end of the elementary school, offer and encourage muslim families to put their children in boarding school. The idea is to break the ghettos by making those children grow in some regular school, for instance in the countryside. Most muslims are gathered in "ghettos", we have to break those ghettos. It would be only for the children with average to good grade. In middle school, the smart kids, the one who could have good grade are often bullied by the others kids. Ghettos kids are their own worst ennemies. At the opposite of what a lot of leftist says, I don't think the responsible is the big bad white society, I would rather think it's themselves. We have to break the ghetto effect. Those boarding school shouldn't be prisons, btw they would be allowed to go back to their families during week ends and holidays.
_ For the young thugs or criminals, put them by force in military boarding school. They could only go back to their family if they develop a good behaviour.
_Legalize the cannabis, not because I'm a pothead but because it's the main source of money of the local gangs.

Not to mention that Trump is an example of what can go wrong by voting for the populist

I would try to translate roughly both Macron and Le Pen political propositions because I have the feeling that people of both sidesla are arguing mostly on labels.

    I have a question about Macron's wife:

In the US a teacher going out with a 15 year old student is illegal and that teacher would be fired arrested and thrown in jail. Is an adult having sex with a minor in France legal if they are over some set age or did she get away with it due to some connections?

It's illegal to have sex with a minor of less than 16 YO without parents consent but in a general way, it's considered obscene and extremly rude in France to speak about the private life of the politician so their is no polemics about his wife.

Correct! And the next French president will surely be Macron, the European Central Bankers' stooge. The EU, the ECB, and the IMF will tell this life-long investment banker (who has never held an elected government position in his entire LIFE) everything that he is to think and do!

The total ECB domination of Europe is thus secure, and the stock market loves it! Europe will continue to have a new internationalist, 'pan-Europa' clown in power....
