Actually violent crime rose in Australia as well as gun crimes for a good while.

 

Actually, statistically speaking, you're more likely to be killed in a mass shooting in Australia than you are here in the US. In fact you're more likely to die from a mass shooting in many European countries and the entire EU than you are to die here in the US.

 

In other words you hope for more dead people so that you can have your way and abolish guns.

 

I don't hope for it, but based on our violent history of massacres, I'm afraid it will happen again. And again, and again...

Unless all guns are confiscated, you cannot prevent it.

 

Even then there is no guarantee. There's trucks, planes, bombs....

What gun did Timothy McVeigh or the 9/11 terrorists use? They would just switch tactics and this time, they would have a disarmed population to prey on, along with every gang and thug in America. Anybody elderly or female would be an easy victim unless you can keep them in groups or with able bodied males.

Look what the 9/11 terrorists did with box cutters. No city bus would be safe. What's to stop a group of terrorists with knives from killing everybody on the bus and then letting one of them drive the bus over as many people as possible while the others get away? A group of terrorists could start forest fires upwind from large cities during droughts. I'm surprised they haven't thought of these and they don't need guns to do this.

It has everything to do with gun control. Terrorism becomes easier in a gun free society. Just look at how many mass murders are carried out in "gun free zones". Look at the crime rates in cities that have strict gun laws. We don't have near the problem in the rest of America.

Do they have a lot of rape? We already know they have a lot of suicide. Why does the US have 3 times the burglaries and 14 times the auto theft? Those don't require guns.

Does terrorism require guns? What makes someone a terrorist? What would make Japan a target of terrorists?

 

I suppose the recent Terrorist attacks in France and other Gun free Countries with strict Gun control do not count ?

 

Do they have a lot of refugees or significant numbers of immigrants? Do they have a lot of racial strife and open borders with 3rd world countries?
