Europe is WAY ahead of us in renewables. China and India recognize the problem and are changing - at least they aren't in denial as nearly half of America is. The argument "well others do it, too" is never valid.
If everything is done it is estimated that it would reduce the increase in temperature by 0.2c by 2100. Hardly worth the cost and that money won't be available to adapt. China and India continued to build coal powered plants but China had too many plants planed so cut back on some. Countries may have signed onto a political movement but that isn't driven by hard science. As it is, no scientist can tell you what the temperature will be in 2100. It is all based on models with such a wide output that you can claim anything you want since it cannot be falsified.
Derp. The number polled is a statistically accurate sampling of the sum total in the world. Would you like to tell US how many climatologists that there are in the world, and - comparing it to the statistical sample of voters - how that number isn't a sufficient amount to determine what's bullshit (your position) and what isn't (mine)?
