That is not true, Police Officers lose more guns than do civilians, and these guns are used in violent crimes, many shotguns and patrol rifles are wrenched out of locked mounts every day and used to rob people and liquor stores, convinience stores banks etc.....

Are you going to prosecute Police Officers for those lost Guns ?

How are you going to get 300 million guns registered? Canada couldn't get all long guns registered, and they didn't have nearly the number that we did.

It's a lot larger task to register 110 million handguns than it is to register say, 100,000 handguns. Going forward, of course, all new handguns could be registered.

If Canada has done it for 90 years they mist have a very good reason....maybe because it works

 

Registration will never prevent someone from committing a crime with a gun.
