    These new Graphene Sieves could drastically reduce the cost of
    desalination of ocean water and set the stage for the Carl Cantrell
    method of climate stabilization to be initiated at a whole new level?

    I quoted Mr. Cantrell in my 2008 campaign for Municipal Councillor:

    I was at an environmental impact meeting for the Goldboro, Nova Scotia, LNG plant, I think back in 2008, and I met an expert who asked me if I could guess which one nation on earth has experienced cooling in their climate since 1950.

    I guessed Israel..... and he said that I was correct.

    Israel has planted an astonishing number of trees and pretty much led the world in large scale desalination of ocean water for agriculture, reforestation projects as well as for towns experiencing drought.

    The fact that they are the only nation experiencing cooling in their climate is at least partial verification for Mr. Carl Cantrell's theory.

    Yay Dennis, I missed this the first time around when you first posted it. Well that's a solution... unfortunately it's too expensive. Graphene is too expensive to be useful in applications, like bringing water to poor African countries.

    A single flake of graphene (1 Micrometer = 0.001 Millimeters) can cost over $1000 to make, using the scotch tape method. -- From the video at the first link in post 1.

    Not like its' made from diamonds.
    Look at how prices come down. Solar Panels. Computer.
    If Tesla started making them, I bet the price comes down faster ;)

    The author of the article that I quote in the opening post felt that it would make desalination a lot less expensive than the present methods.

    Yes... the market is huge.....
    so the incentive is there for this to eventually become
    super efficient.

    Thank you for drawing my attention to this part of the formula......
    I hadn't watched that video so I didn't realize how expensive start up costs
    would be at this time.

    It could even assist with the construction and goal of an Alternative Wall.




    What do you think of my Alternative Wall Theory?

    An alternative wall..... to The Donald's Mexico - USA wall would include......
    a massive ocean water desalination facility plus.......

    a huge fish farm.... that extends along much of the alternative wall.........

    infinite financing for the project will be made possible once we humans line up our
    valuation of human life..... and all life..... more so along the line of how the being of light of
    NDE fame views life.......... (Did you know that ONE nation has experienced COOLING IN ITS CLIMATE SINCE 1950)? That same nation led the world, on a per capita basis in planting trees and in desalination of ocean water for agriculture, reforestation projects and for towns experiencing drought. You got it.....ISRAEL!

    I am thinking of trees..... growing in desert regions..... each having one of these devices at their base?!

    This new solar-powered device can pull water straight from the desert air
