    There are enough muslim bashing threads on this forum. I saw this article in order to help celebrate the fact that there are not only good muslims, but heroic muslims out there.

    Yes those absolutely are Muslim militants.

    The headline could read:

    Muslim man saves 64 christians from militant muslims

    The same militant Muslims that killed so many at the resort and have caused the southern phillipines island of Mindanao to be under martial law.

    This man risked his own death to save others, and in that, I respect him immensely. It does little to sway my opinion of islam, but I regard that man to a Great Man among men. I too hope that the press doesn't inflame the "militants" to act against him in order to save face.

    Well, it could have been a trap and he could have gathered them all in a group to slaughter them. It's not a good idea to trust members of the enemy group, especially when the enemy is actively trying to kill you.

    I would have hoped that as a fellow human being you would have exhibited some sort of positive feelings towards those saved and the man who saved them but alas nothing from you but partisan rhetoric. Very disappointing.

    Truly sad. I was truly disappointed to be honest; regardless of our political views, everyone should be happy when even one life is saved, but life is full of disappointments.
