If he knew where to go to create such a collection, he knows where to go to start building a new one.
Drug dealers know where to get more meth if they get their stash confiscated....that doesn't mean it shouldn't be illegal
Really? You've been arguing on a topic that appearantly you take interest in and you haven't heard of all the states recently allowing constitutional carry? But to answer your question, states like Missouri, Florida, Alaska, Texas, New Mexico, and others have all decreased gun laws over the years. Florida is on the edge of allowing open carry in public. It's just a matter of time.
There are currently over thirty states that passed shall issue carry. Including Illinois, though the way they are going about it needs work. I listed a few states as an example.
Easy enough... https://www.buckeyefirearms.org/shall-issue-may-issue-no-issue-and-unrestricted-states. But then you knew that....
Too bad, Concealed Carry = many nails in Gun Control's coffin, it is also gun control's last gasp & death rattle.....
I think there is merit to your comment. In nearly every state that move to allow CC, gun control advocates opposed the move with a narrative that it would result in blood running in the streets; didn't happen anywhere. In fact, in my state where roughtly 15% of adults have CCPs, any place you go will have people armed, yet there is no panic, and scant attention from anyone. Little by little the narrative of the left was exposed for what it was. Yet the narrative persists and more and more it is falling on deaf ears. And, it is looking like the state may become one of the Constitutional Carry lot. The places where the majority of murders and guns used in crime persist are those with high rates of poverty, drug trade and it's related crime, and where there are cycles of people going to jail (crime U), retuning to the street with few, if any job opportunities because of their criminal histories, then resorting to crime as the only avenue for income, thus perpetuating concentrated areas of a culture in which gun crime persists. Gun crime elsewhere in the community is often an export of these areas. Interestingly, because of the criminal histories in these areas, few are eligible to possess guns and CCPs, yet these areas are typically where the left has influence and despite their rhetoric they continue to persist in creating tolerance for criminals and help persist a culture of dependence.
and as more and more Americans buy modern sporting rifles, the Heller "commonly used" prong strengthens.
