The FBI arrested a leaker who leaked top secret intelligence from the NSA.

The info she leaked is about Russian attempts to hack our election counting computers in 2016.

Judge Napolitano, says this leaker may have done something illegal, but her illegal act was one of PATRIOTISM!!!

If the Russians tried to hack our election system so as to actually influence the voting outcome, we The People have a RIGHT to know about it.

Trump should pardon this brave soul.

 

There's a legal channel for whistleblowers, and I speak as someone who liked the unveiling of the NSA. But done properly, it can protect national security secrets. Done improperly, and it can jeopardize our security assets.

We needed Deep Throat to uncover Nixon, and we need more transparency in general but people who blatantly disregard classified information should not be given a pardon.

I agree, not sure why they would keep this from us, but if she did not follow the law, she will be charged, but the sentence should definitely fit the crime, not 10 years in prision

I agree that, in general, Uncle keeps too much stuff classified. But that doesn't excuse leaking it to the press just because you feel like it. She is, and she should be, going to prison.

As far as us needing to know that Russia attempted to hack the election, here's a news flash. No ****. I don't need to be told that. So did China, Japan, Australia, Germany, and practically every other country on the planet. In fact, they're all trying to hack us right now. I don't need leaked intelligence to know that. BTW, we're doing the same thing to all of them.

From the news I'm hearing today is that she has a flash drive that has "documents",not just the one---I say release what is on the flash drive & let us know the whole truth--- & yes, she is a true Patriot---
But, this is what I have been saying since election day & I still believe they actually went in & changed the numbers!!
But ,what gets my goat is that I don't see where this is "Highly Classified material",I believe that it should have been the duty of the CIA or whoever to work with the data managers to ensure this issue wouldn't effect the voter tally---,because as the story says,they can't be sure the system wasn't breached---( I will always believe they did change the numbers) could have saved us all a lot of grief & the right person would have been sworn in as POTUS-- That would be HILLARY--

From what I heard, I don't think patriotism had anything to do with her actions. She wanted to bring down Trump. I can't blame her for that, but her methods were wrong.Besides, he's self-imploding anyway.

The NSA memo was classified, and should not have been released. That said, it was really "no, duh". I don't need an NSA memo to know that Russia and the rest of the world are constantly trying to hack us.
