I do not care what religion one believes in. I do have a problem when people try to force their religious beliefs on others through physical violence (law) or Holy Jihad.

Islamist's want strict sharia theocracy to be the law of the land/political system. They hate individual rights and freedoms and want to force their religious beliefs on others through physical violence.

    Not all Muslims are Islamist's.

For example Syria was a rare secular Muslim nation. There is drinking alcohol in bars and dancing, there is Christian Churches and freedom of religion. Women wear skirts and wear proper bathing suits. Women can get an education without a mans permission and drive a car. There is no strict Sharia and the Imam's had little influence over the affairs of State.

The Islamist Jihadists hate secularism. This was the "call to Jihad" in Syria.

The Syrian people fighting for Assad do not want strict sharia theocracy - which is why they fight for Assad. They fight against Islamist Jihadists who want to enslave them in the bonds of Strict Sharia Theocracy.

The US, in conjunction with Saud, Qatar and others, support the Islamist Jihadists. It was arming these scum that led to the worst humanitarian crisis so far this decade 500,000 killed and counting, the refugee crisis which is spreading the Islamist plague, and the rise of the modern incarnation of ISIS.

Rather than blaming Muslims who hate these Islamist's, you should be blaming Obama (and now Trump) and the Establishment who love these disgusting scum.

I guess that's the art of the deal. Throw the whore a 20 dollar bill. But I'd rather go somewhere else to grab oil. We could invade Venezuela with 50 Navy Seals and nationalize their oil fields. Next stop, Havana and take over their cigar and rum factories. Putin's got nothing on the US, we are just nice. :D

If s/he is "suspicious" of the texts of a religion, does s/he constantly quote said texts (s/he's be pretty awesome if s/he did that!), or just blindly make up s**t out of thin air? That would make all the difference. Maybe those texts ARE indeed evil. Just because you desperately don't WANT them to be evil, doesn't mean that they are not.

As a non- agnostic, I don't GAF. Jesus likes fireworks too. My policy would be to wall those bastards up in their own special hell within their historic borders and let them all go jihad on each other. Let's call it "The Playoffs"

Nah, you can't even condemn God for saying in Qur'an 5:33 to crucify, yes crucify(!), as punishment, and to chop off hands(!) as punishment, so I aspire to be FAR MORE ethical than you are - sorry, bro'.

Modern Secular Humanists love people more than you do, apparently, so that's something that you can work on for the future. I believe that if you search your heart you can find enough love for your fellow human to do that. I believe in you.
    Have a great night.

What if s/he teaches the truth, that those religions are evil....then I'd applaud that person and get on their side. "Distrust" would be if this person lies, but if it's the TRUTH, then I'd applaud this "hypothetical" person. They sound kinda cool, to me.

Maybe we can end fiat currency and the concept of govt while we're at it, and we can all coombyah in utopia.

    End faith...

ISIS is just a bunch of barbarians that found an ideological rally point to be F'ing Evil together. If you magically end faith, evil people will find another excuse to pillage, murder, rape and do it in the most horrible way possible cuz some people are just wired to create horror and tragedy.

We'd be better served focussing on the elements of our own establishment that are arming them, disarming their victims, and generally making it difficult for the decent folk of the world to put these demons in the ground quickly before they can conglomerate into international threats.

Make no mistake about it. We are at war with Islam. The left surrendered a long time ago. The rest of us elected Trump.

The Saud is part of the "Establishment". The establishment includes the various Oligarchs/robber barons.

The robber barons own and/or control the media (sitting on the board of directors of most major publicly traded corporations and owning most large private ones) ... the board chooses the editor and the editor controls content.

When a GE, or similar, own a major network - such as MSNBC - you are not going to hear much Saud bashing as GE - and the members of the board who have interests in many other companies - does much business with Saud.

US foreign policy has little to do with platitudes such as "promoting democracy and freedom" and everything to do with economic hegemony for the robber barons.

The problem is that we are at war with SO MANY Islamic terrorists, in so many many nations. And "moderate" Muslims, even when asked point-blank won't condemn the very verses that clearly (in the terrorist's own words) inspire their Jihad against us!

When you can find millions of Muslims that will find the moral courage to condemn the terrorist's #1 role model for boasting "I have been made victorious through terror", then we'll talk.

Another kid killed by us - yet we are too cowardly to take on faith itself. Our bomb-makers are making some pretty good coin though, I'm sure! The military-industrial complex is alive and well and bombing kids. Gotta admit they are indeed pretty good at killing people, though.

    Like "religious ethics".
Or "loving Christian". (If one thinks that Jesus/god are loving, then they haven't read the Bible.)

The problem you need to address is your lies. Moderates are not obliged to condemn anything to avoid being lied about by you. You are unambiguously and completely responsible for your lies. It is a bold faced lie to say that the United States is at war with Islam. It is another to suggest that the article discussing a war with Islam, when it discussing a war against a terror group. You should apologise to anyone who was misled by what your wrote. I condemn radical secular humanists who lie to promote their agenda. Can you condemn those people?

I think we - meaning mainstream American culture - we challenge Islamic ideology every day. We do it through the way we lead our lives in this culture.

I am a practical man, and I don't see how you intend to "challenge" the Islamic ideology any way other than by leading our lives as we wish in our country. Now when they wish to use terrorism, when they set out to harm us through violence, and when their violence becomes a scourge on civilized people, we may answer that with our own violence as I've already talked about. They're thugs. And thugs aren't so tough when confronted with a superior power, and, frankly, we are it. They can screw with the Iraqis, the Syrians, the Afghans, the Pakistanis, the Yemenis, and the Somalians and even the Europeans and get away with it. But they can't screw with us without consequence.

I actually hate war, and I hate sending our young people into war. I hate the suffering war causes to the innocents who want no part of it. I am fully aware that the war we have engaged causes the deaths of civilians. But the blame lies with ISIS. I hold them fully responsible for all of it. The best thing we can do for the Syrians and Iraqis is to defeat ISIS as quickly as possible. The longer war drags on, the worse it is for the true victims of war. What both of those countries need more than anything is peace.
