    So, now it appears the Adm. Rogers also has contemporaneous memos indicating that Trump was asking him to "obstruct justice" and interfere in the Russia/Trump investigation. This falls in line with the Comey memos. What is Trump trying to hide and why?

    An absurd premise to claim that would constitute obstruction of justice.

    The new standard of guilt? Anyone who says they are innocent and ask to be declared innocent has committed the crime of obstruction of justice. Welcome to the Democratic Party's KGB system of justice - but only for Republicans.

    Patterns of behaviour got to motive and Trump has provided the evidence by his actions that he wanted to obstruct justice and abused the powers of his office i doing so...........slam dunk.

    jesus, didn't this Rogers guy just say during that hearing last week that he never felt any pressure from the Kim Jong-Trump administration to intervene in the Russia investigations???

    I don't understand what Trump was thinking. If he was guilty of nothing (as I personally believe is the case), why didn't he just let the investigations play out, and not interject himself as he apparently did so many times?

    With the media embellishing or even making up BS stories about him, he probably thought he needed to get a positive message out by someone the people would listen to.

    Rogers answered one question that was asked and then refused to answer the question where he was asked "if Trump asked him to interfere". Rogers was dancing.....

    He didn't need to get any kind of message out. If he is truly innocent of these accusations, he can say nothing. He's President and as such surely has enough to keep him busy.

    All it was was a request by Trump to point put what they already knew. There was no evidence of collusion. They refused due to the open investigation and that they wouldn't comment on classified matters.

    Notice they are both still in their current jobs.

    ^Important point.

    If he seriously had nothing to do with the Russian active measures in the campaign, he's sure spending lots of time, energy, and political capital trying to shoot down the investigation. Why not just let it play out and have the last laugh when nothing comes of the investigation?

    It makes me wonder how he would have handled the situation differently if he was guilty. I'm not sure there would be any difference. What he's doing now sure doesn't seem like what an innocent man would do.

    What kind of investigator worth their salt declares anyone innocent prior to the end of an investigation? Would that kind of scenario really make sense to you?

    And I think that's part of his reason for doing it. He's a troll - and he functions better acting like a troll. His behavior is trollish. He wants people to speculate on his guilt or innocence, so he acts like a rational human being would NOT act.

    He's trolled himself into a Special Counsel and an investigation into obstruction of justice. I used to think that if Trump was removed from office, it would be for money laundering/ ethics violations. I thought that until he fired Comey. There is a case for obstruction and Mueller will say so. It just depends on whether or not the House will decide to go there. It's like Troll Inception, trolling others to ending up trolling himself.

    I don't know about you, but I never thought I'd live long enough to see a troll in the Oval Office - and one with so many fans who think his trolling behavior is endearing and worthy of admiration and defense. It's a sad place we've come to when someone like Trump is in the most powerful man in the free world.

    I'm not convinced they are actually a fan of the man, himself, although some might be. IMO, many treated this election like a team sport. They love their team to death, and they hate the opposition. I've seen far too many posts that say things like,"as long as he makes librul heads explode, I'm happy," to believe otherwise. It can't be because they agree with his campaign promises or policy. He's failed or reneged on almost every one of them.
