So this guy deserved to go to jail because he might rape someone.

Thanks for being case in point.

What exactly makes you think I would be happy with rapists getting away with it? Or is this just a personal attack because you cant counter my argument about false rape accusations making legitimate accusations harder to prosecute?

Could I point out the irony that this woman hasn't been convicted? Lots of you seem to have fallen for the common tabloid fraud in it's reporting of the prosecution case alone to con readers in to believing it is all proven fact. Incidentally, I guarantee that had she been slim and attractive, many of the responses would have been very different.

Before the attacks turn on me, this doesn't mean she isn't guilty and anyone who does commit the kind of offences she is being tried for should be treated very seriously 9more seriously than they commonly are at the moment).

Hint for the future; If the source is the Daily Mail, read it all very carefully or preferably, find a better source.

I would like you to be honest and point out the exact words in the post of mine you quoted WHERE I said or inferred or indicated in any way that """this guy deserved to go to jail because he might rape someone.""

    Here it is:

    FoxHastings said:
Oh. I'd blame the RAPISTS first before blaming women....too many men see rape as their right, and if the woman is unconscious that's the go ahead for them....and , of course, many don't need women to be compliant...

Yes, "too many" people period commit crimes....gee, big revelation !!

Why can't you be happy many rapists get away with it ...or isn't that enough for you?"""""

You seemed to think it's the rape issue is all women's fault....and fail to address anything else.

Oh. I'd blame the RAPISTS first before blaming women....too many men see rape as their right, and if the woman is unconscious that's the go ahead for them....and , of course, many don't need women to be compliant...

Just trying to show you a little perspective which you don't want.

    Wrongly.

    Twice.

I like how you're defending sending innocent people to jail.

I wonder if you'll feel the same when it's your turn.

Jumping to baseless conclusions based on your own need to be the victim. You just cant bring yourself to admit that men can be victims as well. <Mod Edit-Rule 3>

Why are you so happy that many women falsley accuse men of rape? I have a friend who had to deal with it, thankfully after about 6 months of investigation they threw his crazy ex gf in jail.

He prosecuted to the fullest degree and we all supported him, she was a terrible women. Just as bad as the men who rape women.

But of course you only support one side.... gee what a big revelation!

Demonstrably he didn't get a fair trial.

Now that we know he didn't do it, what was the "evidence" that convicted him on two separate occasions.

In this case she was probably angry no one wanted to sleep with her.

Most of the women this militant about rape aren't women you'd want to have sex with anyway.

Meh, most likely she just didn't get the attention she wanted. Although yeah, I guess when you follow that path to the end it is "no one wanted to sleep with her" Sorry I'll shut up, semantics

How can one have two fair trials and a jury convict when the primary witness lied under oath? Would you not run away?

I am sure you would say this back with Rubin (Hurricane) Carter right?

Sorry, was the first example I could think of that defeats this stance. Just watched the movie!

Or do you see that as "different" because one involves racism and the other rape?

I know this is hard but try to use your logic instead of your tear ducts.

If he didn't commit the crime, and we now know for certain he didn't do it, how is that a fair trial?

Evidence couldn't possibly exist for something he never did.
