I believe they are protesting the Christian groups's efforts to perform psychological experiments with methods not approved by physicians.

If a group got together to convert heterosexuals to homosexual lifestyle would you be upset at them and protest against them? Most people today could give two hoots because they don't feel it is any of their business. Most people have greater worries then what a person's sexual orientation or convictions are.

For those who want to argue genetics vs choice I put forth this scenario.

A homosexual couple (male) decide to have gender reassignment surgery because they feel they are women stuck in mens bodies. So during the surgeries they are now transgender. Once the surgeries are complete and they are recognized as women...

Are they now a lesbian couple? What if they decide they are not attracted to women, albeit each other, divorce and marry men. Are they now heterosexual?
