Actually I don't know why evolutionists think Christians are against them, as most modern Christians nowadays fully accept that evolution happens as animals adapt to survive!
BUT Christians go one step further and say that creatures are too perfect to have evolved by themselves, and that a 'Master Geneticist/Designer' (God) must have tweaked evolution at certain times to keep it on track.
I mean, creatures as beautiful and perfect as this can only have been created by a brilliant Designer..-

 

What's interesting to me is over 300,000 years...how much has mankind actually evolved? Through discoveries, technology, innovation, etc. this has afforded mankind the tools to perform/produce at breakneck levels today. But, how many people today are not much more than Neanderthals in contemporary clothing?

 

The "designer" can be found in a directory, listed under cosmetic/plastic surgeons.

It's not my fault if some atheist posters in this thread mentioned religion and needed to be corrected, so I'm simply being a good samaritan and rescuing them..

We're in the middle of a heatwave here in Britain so I'm too hot to bother looking up what 'disingenuous' means in the dictionary.
All I know is that science and the Bible are a 'Dynamic Duo' that overlap to a considerable extent. For example this thread is titled-

and as I mentioned earlier, time is stretchy and elastic (Einstein said so, and so does the bible), so it might not be possible to date ancient artifacts and bones precisely, because time may have run at different speeds at certain periods of earth history.

1- Jesus is the Son of God himself. Buddha and Mohammed and other spiritual leaders are in graves, but Jesus is not, spot the difference?..

Try the Gospel of Thomas, the oldest authenticated manuscript of the gospel writings.
These Christians believe the resurrection was spiritual, not corporal. <Burn them>
They were further away from dem Greeks and their influence and Greek body myths.
They were in Egypt.
Their influence on Christianity was pretty well nullified at the Christian Council of Nicea 325 run by Byzantines Greeks. It wasn't like they were Cathars.
The Gnostic Christians were a pretty academic group.

1- you know of course that time runs slower for us if we're standing near a pyramid or mountain?
In fact there are Biblical examples of the sun standing still in the sky, and another time it actually went backwards, how kool is that?
The fascinating question therefore arises whether the sun itself stopped and shunted backwards, or whether the earth stopped rotating and reversed.
PS- The sci-fi film 'Interstellar' touches on the fluidity of time, for example several of the crew shuttle down to a planet leaving one crewman aboard the mothership to mind the shop.
They return to the ship later after an hour or two to find he's aged 23 years and has been alone all that time because they underestimated the massive effects of a nearby black hole.

The sun stopped and shunted backwards? Oh right you mean because the massively ignorant biblical story tellers had no clue that the earth revolved around the sun and not vice versa. As to the earth stopping its rotation and reversing - you might want to take a course or two in physics and pay particular attention to the conservation of angular momentum.

Well I got College of Preceptors exam passes in General Science and Advanced Science in the 1960's and went on to work in labs, so naturally the Bible's phenomena arouses my scientific curiosity and it's FUN to speculate..
For example did the sun or earth really stop and go into reverse, or perhaps it was just some kind of quantum illusion or something?
