You took the cheap jab at Republicans. (Some crap about them not caring about the poor.) You were asked what you do for the poor and the only post that counts as half an answer is that you pay taxes. (That may qualify you for sainthood and a peace prize now days!) Just like those who want to force women to give birth and have the kids become wards of the state. I don't paint groups with a broad stroke because that would be stupid. People are individuals and are not all alike.

While dems are statistically less generous than reps when is comes to helping the less fortunate, I do know some very good people who happen to be democrats. Unlike most who only want the appearance of caring, they give their time and money to help others. (Walking the walk) They are under no obligation to do so.

By trying to cast reps in a bad light when it comes helping the poor and downtrodden, you have exposed your own lack of concern. Your glass house is a bit breezy!

Again, in your pettiness, you refuse to acknowledge that I wasn't the one whining about those "precious lives".....the righties declared they were "precious lives" so shouldn't be aborted.....

They made the claim, I didn't, so I don't have any obligation to defend my stance...it's simple but you refuse to admit it...or can't get something that's a very simple concept...

BTW, didn't see too many of your GENEROUS LOVING Repub pals signing on for pregnancy duty...:roflol::nana:

I never claimed you were whining about the "precious lives" Those who claimed to care about them were called out and you liked those posts. That's why I am surprised you fell into the same trap when you took a cheap shot at reps for not caring about the poor.

Don't worry; no one here thinks you care about children, fetuses, the less fortunate, logic, or reading comprehension.

Getting back on topic, a few did say they would endure a pregnancy to save a child and 3 members have adopted or fostered unwanted children. Finding people who care is very difficult and this thread helped me find 3 so far.

The reply of a coward requires back up ...from your post ""no one here thinks you care" ....can't speak for your self?

That's a childish attempt at an insult which shows clearly you made no point and had no facts and cannot comprehend written words that you don't agree with...

Every attempt at insulting has come back to bite you. Why do you keep doing it? Now you are calling me a coward? Not once have I backed down to any challenge. I have asked a few questions you were afraid to answer because you would be admitting to what you accuse others of. You are in no position to be calling names.

I will challenge you to quote the first insult attempt. The date/time stamp on each post will easily confirm that you took the first cheap shot and I only called you out on it.

"I brought you into this world, and I'll take you out, go upstairs and make a better one in 15 minutes," Bill Cosby's father, (and mine, but in less polite terms).

If, in some way a fetus outside the womb was threatening the life of a woman just by existing I would support aborting it. Oddly, your scenario is about the only one in which I would not support abortion, for if a fetus is outside of the womb it cannot be threatening the mother. Abortion has nothing to do with the humanity of the fetus, it is a matter of supporting a woman's right to defend her life against something, or someone, who is threatening it. It matters not at all how or why that person or thing came to be threatening the woman's life, only that it is. To say anything else is to say that in special cases people do not have the most fundamental right there is, the right of self-defense, and that can justify genocide, slavery and a host of other atrocities that pervert a civilization past the point where it is one.

:) Boy! When you lose an argument you pout forever ....:roflol:

Yes, when you have to post things like """"no one here thinks you care" because you need back up and can't speak just for your self it's cowardly and shows you haven't really got an argument. (besides the fact that you didn't have any good argument :) )

No, I nailed it on how Repubs ARE trying to cut funding to social programs that help BORN children........ they ARE , and you have no defense so you lash out in frustration.

Ya know it isn't a secret that Repubs want to cut funding to Welfare, WIC, SNAP, healthy food in schools, educational public TV , clinics where women can access affordable birth control and prenatal care....these are ALL things that take care of "precious lives", .

How I personally feel doesn't compare to how Repub politicians feel since THEY (NOTICE "THEY" NOT ME) are the ones cutting the funding for the care of "precious lives". THEY are the ones AFFECTING millions of "precious lives"...

...and those Anti-Choice men didn't exactly like the idea of being pregnant did they ;)....my, my how little they care....

Well put.....and a good argument when some Anti-Choicer declares by restricting abortion through law men aren't trying to control women when, as you have shown, they are.

Quote the first insult or admit defeat. Don't worry, you still get a participation trophy.

Show some ability to use facts/logic/reasoning or admit defeat. You don't get a trophy for deflection and denial....

No trophy for cherry picking posts because some things are Inconvenient either :)

I don't see a quote. (Or anything worth reading.)

This thread was about aborting outside of the womb. This was an attempt by kazenatsu to move the line of acceptability. Once I asked about his/her willingness to take part in these "precious lives" he has disappeared. While a conclusion can be drawn for this individual, it does not apply to an entire group. (Doing this would show profound ignorance and inability to comprehend simple logic.) He does't care about these precious lives; he only seeks the appearance of caring.

He set his own trap and then walked right into it. Just like you did when it comes to caring for the less fortunate. While painting any group with a broad stroke only parades ignorance, your claim about reps as a group is false. As a group, they do more for the less fortunate than dems. (This has nothing do with what a dem or rep does as an individual)

So let's just be clear that I am not bashing dems as a group. I always take the time to ask a few questions before measuring an individuals character. I am simply exposing your lack of caring for the same people you accuse others of not caring for. You are under no obligation to care and are in no position to criticize others.

Please make sure your reply has BOLD and ALL CAPS to make your frustration obvious for those just joining the thread.

:) YOU do win the "" POUTING FOR LIFE Because of Having No Point " Award ...congratulations....

BTW, I am in a position to criticize whomever I feel like criticizing.....contrary to what you erroneously think, you don't make the rules :)

I exposed the Republicans lack of caring which you will not admit to.....that's your right, but it looks very childish that you can't admit you're so wrong...

You NEVER proved Republicans are not proposing cutting funding to social programs that aid children and it IS your INDIVIDUAL Republicans who VOTED for them.

Now that's a fact but I'm sure you'll be insulting me further to try to prove that's not a fact since you have nothing else....and my gawd are you getting boring,...,.

Still refusing to quote the first insult I see. Hmmm. Did you call someone a coward?

Feel free to invite me to a thread on social programs and I will happy to discuss the issue.

You are free to criticize whomever you wish. There is a term for those who criticize others for that they themselves are guilty of.

My point is simple enough for a child to understand. You are a hypocrite. You can post in bold and all caps all day, but you have already become ensnared in your own hypocrisy.

I'm ok with zero tax dollars going to any individual/family that decides to have an abortion. Its that simple. Ossoff of the Georgia special election apparently received 750,000 dollars from Planned Parenthood. This tells me everything you need to know, and that is Planned Parenthood should get zero federal dollars.

So you only want organizations you personally approve of to be able to contribute to politicians...it doesn't work that way...:)

And, of course, you have no idea that the Hyde Act prevents federal taxes from paying for abortions and that Planned Parenthood business is 3% abortion and the rest is BIRTH CONTROL, , prenatal health care , cancer screenings , STD care and prevention ( for women AND MEN)....now I know Righties hate anyone but them having health care but that's the way it is...:)

    I am personally against abortion.

But how about this, we rename the death penalty as abortion and instead of keeping criminals on death row, we call it the womb and then just abort them. Maybe then some lefties can get behind it, after all they are all about names and relabeling everything. So yeah in the case of a hardened criminal that has committed a capitol offense and found guilty by trial and lost all appeals, then yes abort them, do it quickly and efficiently. No more lanquishing on death row for ten plus years...Just a simple medical procedure and done.

My personal view is that if a fetus is viable outside the womb then it should be accorded human rights and as such the hospital where it was excised should have the legal obligation at state expense to incubate it to full term and available for adoption to anyone other than the mother who ordered it to be excised.

If a fetus is viable then it has protections, it can't be legally aborted except if there's danger to the life /health of the woman or fetus.
Once it is outside of the woman it then, and only then , becomes a person with rights.

So you do believe in limiting a woman's right to choose?

What if it comes out before viability?
Would it be ok to perform horrific medical experiments before the fetus breathes its inevitable last? (You know, for the sake of advancing medical science and curing Alzheimer's and all that)
Such a fetus may not be able to survive long term but its life can be sustained for several hours, sometimes days, after it has come out.

Yes, this is all kind of absurd, but what I'm trying to point out is how silly it is to say the fetus's rights depend entirely on the viability standard, or whether it has come outside of the woman.

Absolutely not. I believe that , like Canada , we need NO abortion laws.

And no, Canadian women do NOT "enjoy" 8-9 months pregnancy just for the fun of having a late term abortion....and I don't believe any other mentally healthy women would either.

Then it dies, it's not fully formed.

No, I don't think "horrific" medical experiments should be carried out on anything.

    You consider that "horrific" ?

AND do you know there are people who are dead set against using even stem cells from fetuses for research?

    Hard to get past them...

Now THAT sounds horrific and cruel to me...

No, it isn't silly. Until it's viable it can't survive without the woman it's in (it's part of her body, is attached), and that makes it hers to do with as she pleases....

Once it's born, unattached to another human, then it gets it's rights as a person.
