Today Trumps nominee to replace the disgraced former director of the FBI, James Comey, has been approved. The Senate panel unanimously confirmed Chtistopher Wrays appointment as new director of the FBI. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-fbi-wray-idUSKBN1A51UV Now the big questions. Where does he begin, and who'll be the first to fall? The liberal tears will be flowing like fountains once Wray begins to examine all that's been left on his desk. Emails, surveillance, unmasking ... oh, where to start! Predictions, comments, premature critisms? Does the NYT have help wanteds Mr Mueller?

I'd prefer if he would investigate Samantha Powers and Susan Rice for unmasking along with illegal leaks which I believe are related.

He has to get on the leaks. Go after Rhodes and his crew. Take them down, and bust those out in the IC that keeps feeding the MS Media. Then go after the rest. No special order. Including Hillary's Perjury.

Wray inherits the job with a long laundry list. I'm sure there will never be a dull moment, no matter where he begins. The Patriot Act has slipped from the headlines, but a vote to reauthorize is fast approaching. I think a probe into FISA is most urgent. Start with Comeys Russia dossier warrant, and work your way back. The NSA admittedly illegally collected. The FBI illegally shared.

Well, Wray has not been confirmed yet, he did get unanimous approval from the Senate Judiciary Committee and I have no doubt he will sail through his full senate confirmation. He is no different than Comey, he will do the right thing and follow the law. Trump will no doubt be pleased, LOL.......oh wait, he is already complaining about his own nomination, what a buffoon.......

Are you inferring that Wray cannot do his job objectively, instead focusing on "getting back" at Liberals? Isn't his job supposed to be looking at everything in a non-partisan way to show impartiality?

Investigating abuses of the Patriot Act isn't partisan. The fact that the abuses were committed by the Obama administrations criminal elite is no ones fault but their own.

The Senate panel was the biggest hurdle IMO. Nothing is barring his appointment. Wray was a good choice.

That's fine then as long as it isn't partisan.

    Disgraced?

How do you know that the only stuff on his desk involve liberals? I didn't know that we were privy to what the FBI Director is working on.

I know what Comey wasn't working on, so I know what's on his desk. Comey, when questioned by committee admitted he hadn't opened a probe into Flynns leaks, collected through FISA surveillance. Comey, also admitted he hadn't opened a probe into Rices unmasking. Again, activities tied to Patriot Act abuses.

What's on Wray's desk? Link, please. Pictures would be good, too.

Comeys no longer able to provide you with either. You don't seem pleased that such an important vacancy has finally been filled. Aren't you excited? Wray, as far as I can tell, is free of any entanglements. He should be very effective in quickly resolving many issues previously unexamined. Exciting times.

So in other words, you don't know what's on Wray's desk. Yes, I already knew that.

Wray is a good man. And he refused to pledge his loyalty to the liar in the Oval Office. As it should be. The FBI Director works for us, not the Narcissist in Chief.

And let's hope he calls Mueller into his office and looks him in the eye and ask "Mr. Mueller have you ever has a personal ornprofessional relationship with James Comey?" and if the answer is yes then his next words are "I expect your resignation in the morning. Then his next calln is to Rosenstein telling him he is fired.

FISA abuse falls under the purview of the FBI. Allegations of abuse, along with documented evidence of those abuses, as provided by Circa.com & Judicial Watch, have been brought to the attention of McCabe. I do not of course know the full contents of Wrays desk. I do insist, that because of the time sensitive nature, Wray would be extremely remiss in failing to address the issue on day 1. I have no reason to think Wray will fail such a critical test of his ability to effectively execute his duties on our behalf.

Yes I do. Mueller & Comey threatened their resignations over those abuses. Ironic as they seem to have if not participated in them, purposely ignored them. Both had their noses up at the onset, but neither took steps to formally investigate what they both suspected. We need to go all the way back to Bush.

This thread is 7 hours old and not one liberal has asked that Wray look into Russian hacking. I guess without it being force fed to them they kinda know it's bogus and going no where.

All roads lead back to the DNC server. The single stone that's yet to be turned. Wray can't be forced to recused ... Dems are wringing their hands. Let's see what Dems have planned for full Senate confirmation hearings ...

I agree and that would take precedent over Hillary and her aides. Also, they need to investigate who in the Demo party is compromised with the Russians and any others. Even if no crime is committed. Whoever in the Demo Party that is compromised. Needs to have their names leaked to the public. So that they can no longer infect anyone else.
