It is what you're doing. Peer-reviewed science proves that temperatures would rise in the absence of AGW, melting glaciers and ice sheets resulting in sea levels rising.

But....but....how else will the progressive elite get the average folks to give up their rights, and treasure to fund their super cap and trade exchanges???

DISINGENUOUS????. . . . Like opposing environmental restrictions in order to fully exploit natural resources because you don't feel that the adverse effects will be visible in YOUR lifetime????

Na if all that bullcrap was right they wouldnt have to fudge the data, and lie.

Co2 is completely insignificant because the amount of co2 is so incredibly tiny. Water vapor is also irrelevant, because its a constant before and now.

Global warming is a function of an ever increasing population of humans. More blacktop, more concrete, more skyscrappers, more cities, larger cities etc.

    learn how to think logically

agw is an accepted 'scientific theory'

do you understand exactly what that means?

In the absence of AGW, temperatures and sea levels would still rise, logically, since that's what happens during an an Inter-Glacial Period.

Yes, disingenuous. The people living on beach-front property are going to have to relocate, whether AGW is real or not. It's not my fault people acted stupidly and built edifices near the sea-shore before understanding how the Earth works.

Environmental measures are NEVER guarantees, but hopefully will lessen or delay the effects.

    you're parroting nonsense from big-oil

"As the Earth moved out of ice ages over the past million years, the global temperature rose a total of 4 to 7 degrees Celsius over about 5,000 years. In the past century alone, the temperature has climbed 0.7 degrees Celsius, roughly ten times faster than the average rate of ice-age-recovery warming."

    upload_2017-7-23_21-42-56.png

"Temperature histories from paleoclimate data (green line) compared to the history based on modern instruments (blue line) suggest that global temperature is warmer now than it has been in the past 1,000 years, and possibly longer."

Great. Climate change is real, now explain why it's a problem.

Amazing how everyone's tables and graphs don't agree.
All for "Science" & "Logic" too.

The last one above, my favorite, for history associations.

Whose Science and Logic are superior?
    Mine of course.
    Yours are biased. Plainly wrong.

97% of the carbon ends up in the ocean - ocean temperatures rise. Ocean temperature rises 2.2 degrees, coral bleaching starts to occur. 27% of the Great Barrier Reef was lost to bleaching in just the last 18 months. Hawaii is reporting up to 10% die off in the same period. The reefs die, 500 million people lose their main source of protein and we probably loose one quarter of all sea food production.

If that's not a problem, what is?

By the way - scientists aren't saying the reefs MIGHT die - they are ACTUALLY, right now collapsing. Not in ten years. No political posturing. Not maybe. Now.
That is not an arguable point. It is fact.

When you can answer why the earth entered the last ice age, and you can answer why the earth came out of the last ice age, then we'll talk. Until then, you're pissin' in the wind, and the blowback is evident.

If present day scientific tools were on location during the last ice age - do you think scientists might have a better idea of why it occurred and why it ended?

Probably. But for now, I'll settle for a statement that we don't know why the ice age started, and we don't know why the ice age ended, and we don't understand all the factors that go into climate change. Sometimes wisdom begins by admitting what you don't know.

So riddle me this, ClimateGuru. What precludes the processes that took us into the last ice age or brought us out of the last ice age from being at work at this time? While it's not a hard question to ask, it's a very difficult question to answer...

No you post stuff from people who have a vested interest in growing government and global warming is the latest way to do that.

Compared to the above, this is much more informative:

Notice just how remarkably different the two charts are. As in, remarkably different than the hyperventilating AGW one provided by Dujac...
