?

Will tides be up by 4.5 meters in some places?

  1. No.... they will only rise by one foot, 30 cms.

One effective way to organize an
effective opening gambit against rising ocean levels...... is to combine
this goal with assisting the nations of Jordan and Israel to achieve a whole
    new level of economic cooperation...........

Please pray or meditate on Canada's P. M. brokering Jordan - Israel peace deal?
    .....
Several years ago I was led to read a book again about a near death experiencer who was shown that Jordan and Israel would become like one nation…. I wonder if this is true and if it would be according to the will of God for this to happen soon?

    ….…
    …
    Dannion Brinkley:
    .....................
My guess on the new colour for Jordan would be GREEN…. as Isaiah 35 is fulfilled and the deserts of Jordan would be turned green through a great increase in desalination of ocean water……. Not to mention the blessing of God!

It has been estimated the 1/3 of the rise is due to pumping out ground water. Desalinization will not lower levels as it ends up back in the sea.

    Eventually.... yes......

but one of the goals of The Petra Project is to prevent the Dead Sea from drying up.......

True... but would the 15X multiplier apply to whatever rise in ocean levels were to occur?

I am putting it in front of the M. L. A. for Pugwash, that is officially
in the Guinness Book of World Records where the world's highest tides
    hit.

That is exactly what I was thinking........
which means that if average ocean levels were to rise by one foot/ thirty centimeters,
there could well be a 4.5 meter higher tide during exceptionally high tides and storm surges.

(Apparently day to day tides are not up by 15X - 17X ...... this only happens on occasion).

If two hundred million cubic meters of ocean water are taken from the Mediterranean Sea to the Dead Sea annually through The Petra Project..... or something similar........
then it could take a number of months before that H2O ends up back in the ocean.

Water tables all around the world are down.

Underground cisterns are emptying..... and could theoretically be filled again.

I would like an answer on this that is fit to put in front of my Member of Parliament and the M.L.A. for the area that experiences the world's highest tides?

My question is one of physics.......
    not politics.

    ......
"As you know extremely well........ in parts of your riding the difference from low tide to high tide is around FIFTEEN
    meters.

My question is.......... if a significant amount of cracking and sliding of ice on the West Antarctic
Ice Sheet were to occur...... and if average ocean levels were to rise by one meter...... would the
difference along part of the Bay of Fundy continue to have a FACTOR OF 15 X?

Would a one meter rise in average ocean levels translate into another fifteen meters added to high tide
due to the funneling effect that the Bay of Fundy has on the tidal waters as it comes in??????? Edit.....(during exceptionally high tides and storm surges...... because the day to day multiplier is not that high)......

I don't know the answer to this question.

I am hoping that there is some other factor that would lessen the
multiplier effect on high tides in parts of your riding........... but the
question needs to be asked...... because my online friend Mr. Carl Cantrell
gave me an alternative theory on how to address climate stabilization that
has the side benefit of also directly addressing the threat of rising ocean levels."

I put some emphasis on the sentence that I felt actually answered my original question.

AboveAlpha gives us a number in post #19 here.......
    4.3 Trillion..........
that needs to be dealt with..... and turning the deserts of the nation of Jordan green
through large scale desalination of ocean water is a good way to invest those
floating petro-dollars in such a way that should benefit 99.9 percent of humans.

(This takes you to post #18... so just scroll down one more post):

Good point... the situation along the Bay of Fundy for the State of Maine and the provinces of
New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Canada, are unique......... and are not quite relevant to very many other
coastal regions hardly anywhere else on earth.

No, it isn't. Stop making things up.

And if the deserts are greening as you claim, and are thanking CO2 levels, then you are defeating your own position.

Greening has nothing to do with known land subsidence.

If I am not incorrect... the image does a great job of explaining how a part of the Bay of Fundy
experiences low tide to high tide of 6 meters
    another area experiences 7 meters.....
    another area 8 meters...
    another are 9 meters......
all the way up to fifteen meters in one or two areas........

Because the gravitational pull of the moon is pulling that water into a more and more narrow area......
the water piles up on top of itself.......... and piles up on top of itself........ more and more and more until
    it hits land........

I just asked a well informed buddy at work today and he said that yes...........
if average ocean levels were to rise by one foot, then from Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada to Pugwash, N. S., ........ there should be a rise of about twelve to fifteen feet in average high tide levels......... on a daily basis.......
