Regardless of whether or not the above is a contradiction - there are plenty of contradictions in the Bible that are certifiable.

If one compares the nature of YHWH to the nature of the God of Jesus ... the two are in complete contradiction lock stock and barrel.

Paul also disagrees with Yeshua so is Paul in agreement with Yahweh or are they all in disagreement with each other?

Yeshua and Paul disagree about teachers. Yeshua said that he was the only teacher. Paul claimed to have been a teacher and said that there are many pastors and teachers. Which one was telling the truth?

    11. According to Yeshua in Matthew 23:10 (CEB) he claims = "Don’t be called teacher, because Christ is your one teacher."

1 Timothy 2:7 (CEB) = "I was appointed to be a preacher and apostle of this testimony—I’m telling the truth and I’m not lying! I’m a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth."

Hebrews 5:12 (CEB) = "Although you should have been teachers by now, you need someone to teach you an introduction to the basics about God’s message. You have come to the place where you need milk instead of solid food."

The key word also allows for the possibility that it is false.

As are you, and you continually prove yourself to not be trustworthy.

You allow for nothing but your own possibly false beliefs and resort to insults when challenged. Not a convincing argument.

Interesting question. Paul is a bit of an enigma. Paul seems to have made things up as he went along.

As you mention Paul's teachings did not jive with the teachings of Jesus in many respects. Paul's teachings about Women's silence in the Church go against the fact that there were Female prophets in the OT such as Deborah.

His comments in Romans 13 on how we should blindly submit to authority (because this authority was put there by God) also goes against the OT God - and is just whacked and obviously completely uninspired. While this was a good idea to make Christianity more palatable to the Romans - and other authorities that would come later - as a defacto principle it is abject nonsense.

Having read most of the comments on this thread/subject, I have come to the conclusion that one major book has been left out of this bible.

The Book of Contradiction. Seems to overshadow the entire rest of the claims.

The Paul character tried to assume the role of the Spirit of Truth (the Helper) the Yeshua character spoke about in John chapters 14-16. The problem is that Paul contradicts dozens of things that Yeshua preached as the truth. So that would make Paul greater than Yeshua, the supposedly son of Yahweh.

The Pentecostals also put themselves in the place of Jesus when the do the "speaking on tongues" thing.

I hadn't thought about that since the custom predates Christianity with Peter, Mary, and Jesus' brothers.

Your modus operandi is to post one liners in which you simply deny. It is very familiar. I have seen that routine used by people at dozens of websites when they realize they have been debunked. They stick to one line denials that lack substance, as you have been doing.

In your mind, all you have to do is claim that an opponent did not produce evidence that rebuts your nonsense about supposed Bible contradictions, and if you denying often enough, then--in your mind--you will have won the argument and you will have convinced everybody else that you won the argument. What a joke.

Unfortunately for you, there are other people with good reading and comprehension skills that can see, by what I posted above, that there is no contradiction between Genesis 6:19-20 and Genesis 7:2 or within any of the out-of-context verses you presented in your opening post.

Since, at this point, you are boring me to death, I will have to park you on my "Ignore" list where you will join 21 other people. I sent them there during the past five years because they kept posting tripe, as you have been doing.

BTW: Once on "Ignore," I will no longer be able to read anything you post anywhere on this website. In fact, this entire thread will disappear due to the fact yours is the first post on it.

The contradiction is clear. You have not refuted it. It is that simple. You've already put rational thought and reason on ignore.

    12. Who's your Daddy?

Some Christian demoninations, like the Catholics, want people to refer to their agents as "father". The Yeshua character said in Matthew 23:9 not to do that.
Matthew 23:9 (TLB) = "And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven should be addressed like that."

Paul, being the egotistical self-promoter as usual, said that he was the father because he converted all of the local yokels to Christianity.
1 Corinthians 4:15 (CEV) = "Ten thousand people may teach you about Christ, but I am your only father. You became my children when I told you about Christ Jesus,"

So not only did Paul reject what Yeshua said he also made himself greater than Yahweh by claiming that he was worthy of being called "father", a title Yeshua reserved for Yahweh.

    Who's your father?

How is this a contradiction? God is saying of the unclean animals take two of each kind and later provided an exeption to clean animals.

You are clearly ignoring this contradiction. How many birds in ch. 6? How many birds in ch. 7?

It clearly states 2 of "every kind of animal" in 6. 7 contradicts when changing the numbers when creating the clean and unclean distinction. Please show some intellectual honesty.

Why would an omni everything god need to make an exception to something said earlier. It sounds like a change an omni all being would not have to do.

It must be a sin against the abrahamic god to use reason and rational thought.

Not a sin against this non existent god but a sin against all those who claim to speak on his behalf and claim to know his every thought and desire without explaining how they can know this.

    Ccite please.
No, government has a strong motive to deliver tax cuts, especially for those with the wealth to be influential.

If the government has such a strong need to deliver tax cuts, why have taxes only increased year after year? They have the power to cut taxes but that would also cut their own power so it isn't going to happen.

Congressmen have more power as they cooperate with major donors. Without that, they have a hard time just holding their offices. Poor people pose serious problems, not power. Congressmen have to explain why US citizens should get no healthcare, for example.

There are all sorts of reasons for tax to increase. We choose to have a military more powerful than the next 10 nations, most of which are allies! We have inflation. We have economic downturns and upturns. We see citizens suffering and decide to make life less miserable for them. We find problems such as polluted water, etc, and decide we don't like that. The list goes on ans on and on.

    13. How many Apostles?

We all know that Yeshua chose twelve (12) Apostles, who will sit on thrones and judge the twelve tribes of Israel. They will also get paid 100 times what they gave up to follow him. In Revelation 21:14 (CEB) it says =
"The city wall had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the Lamb’s twelve apostles."

Judas was one of the original twelve so will he get the big bonus and his name on one of the twelve foundations or will he be replaced by Mathias?

And don't forget the self-promoting opportunist, Paul. He claimed that he was an Apostle.

Romans 1:1 (CEV)= "From Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus. God chose me to be an apostle, and he appointed me to preach the good news"

Notice that the original Apostles chose Mathias to replace Judas, whom they considered to be a traitor.

Paul claimed that God (Yahweh = the God of the Hebrews and the God of the armies) chose him to be an apostle. Since Yeshua had set the limit at twelve Apostles will Judas retain his original seat and name on one of the foundations or will it go to Mathias or Paul?
