LOL @ cool reflection. Your "cool reflection" is like that of someone smoking pot who thinks he is engaging in cool reflection. "Yeah man, Trump is a genius. Give me another hit of that bong!"

Here's some cool reflection for you. Answer this. If Trump is so bright as you claim, then why did he go into a major meeting with Xi Jinping, the President of China, without having adequately prepared himself on the geopolitical situation on the Korean peninsula? Not only was he not adequately prepared, but then he was so damn dumb that he let the entire world know he was not prepared with one of his dumb tweets.

Here's something else to put in your pot bong. Some things are beyond politics and require firm leadership. Let's suppose that the president is the only eyewitness to a dispute between a white supremacist and a black panther in which the white supremacist kills a policeman who tries to break of the dispute. Let's suppose that the black panther in falsely accused of shooting the policeman, and only the president's testimony can acquit the black panther. Should the president cater to his racist base and let the black panther be falsely convicted? Or should be speak out and tell the truth about what happened? That is a situation that is beyond politics. No matter where you stand on the political spectrum, you should speak out and tell the truth so that an innocent person is not wrongly convicted. Similarly, this is a time when we need leadership from the president, to openly and specifically condemn the dangerous ideology of white supremacy. We don't need an idiot who is too dumb to do the needful. We don't need a coward who is to afraid to do the needful. We need strong leadership from Trump on this issue now. But he has chosen to be a stupid coward. Very sad.

The cost is in terms of person privacy, personal opportunity, business opportunity, and tranquility. If I had that much money, I'd tell all you haters to drop dead and go fishing. Maybe take my guitar and harmonica out on the boat.

You have no idea what he will boast about after he leaves office.

Sorry. I know those were tough questions. If you can't handle it and need a way to save face, I understand. Have a good day!

Sorry but someone who can read or say exactly what speech writers and strategists tell you to say doesn't make you any better. It only makes you "appear" or "sound" better. But inside they're mostly all the same.

When Obama allowed BLM and ANTIFA to form and supported them, it was such a great success. Millions in damage. Cops dead. When an unprecedented number of people went on welfare while OBama watched and supported it, what proud moment...for Dems since that's what they wanted all along. The more govt workers and the more on welfare the better for them.

In case you did not notice, Obama is not president now, Trump is. Trump needs to step up to the plate and show leadership. He is not. He needs to specifically condemn the ideology of white supremacy. But unfortunately he is a coward, and therefore cannot bring himself to do it.

A bunch of guys standing around a statue that most people have never heard of is hardly a representation of national politics. Do many people even know what the statue is?

They represent a national mood no more than a bunch of guys in masks smashing windows at an auditorium on a college campus, or people rioting after an unpopular jury verdict.

It is all just chest thumping.

What represents a political movement is voting.

Yeah....you're right. I should be less serious about watching my country be slowly destroyed and it's institutions degraded while the culture and society is torn apart by the President meant to uphold and strengthen it. I should certainly relax about the humiliation I feel from international partners ignoring our once respected country because they know it's President is not to be believed or taken seriously.

There has been quite of bit of opposition to the removal of confederate relics, much of that opposition in rooted in white racism. Furthermore, Republicans have been subtly catering to such sentiments for a while now. Its not only come back to bite them in the butt, but it is taking the country down a dangerous path as well. They need to stop.

Hotheads represent hotheads. They don't represent the Republican party anymore than anarchists, cop killers and criminal illegal aliens represent the Democrat party.

    They all stand for themselves.

The problem is that Republicans have been catering to them for quite a while now. I assume you are familiar with the work of Lee Atwater. Trump won't even come out and directly condemn the ideology of white supremacy. There is a reason for that.

Sort of like the Dem party catering to anarchist ANTIFA, murderous BLM and illegals. The thing is, the MSM didn't call him out. As insane as the KKK is, those liberal clubs have done a crap load more damage recently. Certainly the past 8 yrs. But Trump should have condemned ALL of them, which he did.

It's hilarious because this is from the same people who had no problem when OBama wouldnt specifically call out ISLAMIC terrorism time and time again. But with OBama it was always OK to be nice and vague:) Trump has to be specific all the time or he's a racist. Guess OBama was a Muslim then because he wouldn't call out Islam? Wouldn't call out black people with BLM.

    ****ing hypocrites as usual.

Again, Trump Haters fall back on the drivel of some guru they find and we are all suppose to lay at their feet with them. Some of us prefer to us our own intellects.

Dispensing with the post-show assessments, PRESIDENT TRUMP condemned ALL the violence in Virginia. From the limited view of the TV cameras one can clearly see fist fights and bottle throwing by all parties.

I think the hotheads on both sides sparked the chaos which in turn led to violence. Even the local cops were overwhelmed.

Without an internet guru to assist me, I will say you just hate the messenger more than the message.

No, the people who voted for this paranoid, blustering, uneducated POS (because they were so like him) are the ones who degraded the presidency...

Actually, the "resistance" and a Congress that has actively fomented revolt in its own chambers has degraded the Presidency. They've degraded the country.

The funny thing is, is that 20th century America forgave the Confederacy for the Civil War. But 21st century America cannot? Why not? Aren't they supposedly more tolerant?

I am watching Democrats blow up America.

As you say, and I know this myself, way back around 1940, we thought we had racism licked. Well FDR still segregated the military but wasn't he great? Democrats had Jim Crow laws in the South but heck, Blacks took off for California or where cars were then made, so no harm no foul, correct?

I grew up in CA and saw large numbers of blacks come to this state. My parents migrated to CA as well. When I was a child about the worst thing a kid got called was a Prune Picker.

Yup, we whose parents came to CA from Oklahoma were supposed to weep at getting called names. Think prune picker is not a bad name?

Seems innocent until you lived then and realized it came with hate and anger and resentment. We were outsiders. Go back to Oklahoma was the cry. CA has plums that are used to make prunes so the slam to us was supposed to be severe.

Blacks played a role in WW2 ships used in war. And once here, they liked it. Still like it to this day.

That is the sort of sick talk we probably must get used to for the next 7.5 years approx.

I see you put ALL in all caps. HE DID NOT CONDEMN ALL. He said many sides without specifying anyone or anything. He is a con artist doing his work.

Obama is not the president now, Trump is.

No one forced Lee Atwater and the Republican party to cater to white racism. They did it on their own volition.

He did not condemn all. He said MANY sides. He did it to avoid publicly condemning his racist base. He is a coward.

No you are wrong. That is similar to saying that a gun manufacturer commits murder when someone uses a gun the manufacturer makes to kill someone. Not only that, your analysis makes no account that the American people had two very poor choices. Although you are right about Trump being sleaze, you have not properly taken into account the sleaze of Hillary Clinton. Therefore your post is flawed.

I don't think Clinton is a sleaze so your post is flawed...

I'm not getting into a Clinton vs trump argument but

....she also can speak English, has very good communications skills, is a skilled negotiator , a good diplomat ( no ignorant inflammatory school kid flaming).

The choice wasn't difficult for me.....a juvenile , ill prepared, pouting infantile, school yard bully with Trump or some form of dignified Presidency.

Trump voters knew BEFORE they voted what a sleaze he was and LIKED it and voted for him making them just like him....
