    Well actually it appears that under the Republican president and the Republican congress it can't actually do anything. Or perhaps you would care to give us a list of significant legislation passed so far during the Trump administration. Not the term legislation before you embarrass yourself.

    It us true that illegals are not Immigrants. That is what you should have said. So illegals do not have many Constitutional rights except maybe the right to life. Yet it is still the law of the land that police authorities, which sheriffs are by definition, must follow the law of the land. The law of the land is that you must not break the law and Aopaio broke the law by stopping all oeoplecwho "looked" like theyvwere illegal. If he stopped even one person who is legal or a citizen then he broke the law since legal residents and citizens have Constitutional rights.

    The maximum amount of time that would have been served was no more than six months. Comparatively it is the equivalent of committing a misdemeanor offense.

    The united state supreme court has been ruling in favor of such practices for decades now.

    What a complete strawman argument. You really think that the issue was that he was enforcing the law? There are rules law enforcement have to follow for their actions to actually be, you know, lawful. Joe didn't follow those rules.

    No surprise that the far right are happy with pardoning a criminal abortionist, murderer, and torturer. I bet they would also be happy if Trump could pardon him for his state crimes and proceeded to do so. So much for moral Christianity and principle. ;)
