well, this isn't nazi germany or mussolini's italy...but we do have brown shirts and black shirts in the streets..and to excuse their violence by portraying it as a noble cause or necessary to save us from fascism isn't just ridiculous...it is complicity as well, worse , if you knew your history, you'd realize those movements had a socialist/marxist origin and they portrayed themselves as noble crusaders and protectors too.there is a great danger here and to ignore it or encourage and think their violence is short term and for the greater good is foolish

And to me it is worse to ignore the violence and spreading of hate groups. You take a small minority that acted inappropriately and make them more dangerous. We just have different values . What was each group demonstrating for? What was the guy who killed the girl acting on whose behalf?
No this isn't nazi Germany....but remember it started with scapegoating

Because even toothless inbred nazi hicks have free speech rights. Or are you one of those "hate speech isn't free speech" types?

Indeed. As Antifa openly advocates violence against people they hate, their spread is worrisome.
    I'm sure you'll quickly agree.

I felt the same way about those who fought the people who dragged Jews into cattle cars...too many people were silent. But as I say you learn more about a person by the people they defend. Who are the people antifa hates? Jews? Blacks? Immigrants? Nah
But I have said I think Arica is counterproductive

Antifa, a terrorist organization, hates everyone equally. They have blatantly stated that they don't care who gets in their way. They have also threatened the lives of Trump, President of the United States, and members of his cabinet.

If they have threatened the life of trump, they are a hate group and should be in prison. Threatening ones life is a crime. Either way they don't hate everyone equally. Do you think the KKK hates white Christians equally

The bigots almost faded into thin air. They are a microscopic portion of this country and hadn't been in the news for years. Then they got to another protest and all of the sudden Antifa attacks them and puts them BACK in the news.

Thanks left wing. You guys made the bigots relevant again. I'm assuming that was the plan though

So you feel the same about the antifa terrorists as you do the Nazis. Good.
Why don't you openly condemn them?
Your silence on that matte speaks volumes.

In your opinion should there be laws against emotions?

    Interesting video about Charlottesville, NC

This is my advice to President Donald J. Trump and Vice President Michael R. Pence, in the words of one of the characters of the play “Julius Caesar”, “Beware of the Ides of Marz (Be aware of the Avenues and Planning of War (Marz) against you.

Your statement about threatening the life of someone is not a crime in and of itself; there has to be follow-through or overt acts accompanying said threat to make it a crime.

It is a crime "knowingly putting another person in fear if bodily injury"

Depends if your emotions cause you to act unlawfully

The same way I wouldn't condemn those who fought against people being put in cattle cars. Never said I feel the same about antifa . By the way I do condemn some of their behavior....it's counterproductive

Based on your response you believe in laws against actions and not emotions, yes?

We choose to act. We don't choose emotions. We have consequences for unlawful acts.

So what is your point about that we have emotions? Of course we have emotions. Now we have laws banning emotions? I guess you're right because I just got arrested for smiling at an adorable little baby. They thought I was showing too much emotion

Emotions are great wonderful and should never be put to legislation. Hate should not be a crime. Expressions of hate in the form of acts against others for the most part are crimes. I just wanted clarity that you understand the difference because it seems that many don't or they just don't care.

I am happy to cover your fine and/or bail on the smiling charge.
