I must have missed all the coverage on CNN for this news.
Why has it not been covered?
Could it be because the Democratic base are the shooters?

The left REFUSE to address the real culprits of gun related crimes because the biggest majority of them are committed by urban drug dealers and gang bangers. They don't want to alienate their base.
On the other hand, if they concentrate on the NRA, law abiding gun owners and AR-15 owners, they can cripple one of the biggest adversaries of the radical left.
Win, win

 

Notice how the left does not discuss gun control unless there's a large enough pile of the appropriately colored bodies to stand upon.

 

At this point, I don't know how anyone with even a molecule of integrity could fail to see that there is a concerted, dedicated campaign of misinformation and propaganda being spewed to try and convince the people of this country to accept being stripped of their rights and let the government take control of every aspect of their lives.

 

This actually stems back to good intentions gone awry. Back in the 80's the crack epidemic led to murder rates that were far worse than now, but as today, predominantly in black neighborhoods. They used to report these on local and sometimes even national news. The end result was that the general opinion towards blacks in America lowered, not just towards the criminals. In an effort to reverse or at least halt that trend, the media has worked very hard to keep all but the most egregious of black crime out of the national news for fear of creating a bad impression. Note, if there is a black crime that makes the national news these days, within a day or hour, there will be an equally heinous crime reported that was committed by whites, but never the reverse of that. The problem is that the truth is being quashed for political correct idiocy, the problem obviously will not solve itself, and without awareness its even less likely to ever be solved...

I don't especially care for gang bangers. If they were on my town they wouldn't be roaming the streets killing people. They tend to run like the gutless dope dealing b:;&$/@$ they are when someone shoots back.

I'm just tired of people like me and the NRA being blamed for the "gun violence" that is causing all the hand wringing when everyone knows the majority of them are committed by druggies and gang bangers...most of whom are urban democrats.

I agree with your sentiments but I doubt most gang bangers are going to the polls. Now some Democrats make excuses for inner city urban youths who commit crimes and i suspect that the people who "raise" such thugs are far more likely to vote Democrat than GOP but I don't believe most hard core thugs are registered as Democratic party voters

Yep, not a peep from the media. All 4 were Hispanic with all 3 males gang involved. The use of a rifle is characteristic of a Hispanic gang, Black banger's less so. Expect at least an equal response for revenge. Interesting to see if this an internal dispute which is a bit unusual or Black on Hispanic. If the latter, it should get interesting.

 

It appears that SUVs are used disproportionally in these crimes. Perhaps those states affect should ban SUVs.

They are the ones dropping firearm-related charges against those arrested for such crimes. It is not republicans in the city of Chicago who is choosing not to pursue felon in possession charges against convicted criminals arrested for having a firearm in their possession.

That would depend on which prosecuting attorneys and judges are currently serving in the state of Illinois, and which of them are processing the majority of firearm-related cases that do not result in convictions. Such records are not available to the public.

And the city approaches 3000 total shootings and well over 500 homicides for the year. All this with people leaving the city as well as the state of Illinois.

Have you? I'd try looking at the decreasing demographic not only in the city but the state of Illinois, especially after the latest debt blunder.
