Actually one theory leaked by investigators is that he killed himself by accident while he was shifting weapons around before trying to make a run for it. If so then it reeks of irony; careless gun handling.

I am not with the angry crowd. I was not with them when G. W. Bush was president. I was not angry with Obama but felt he was committing harm to this country. I won't waste a lot of time on Obama but when he bowed to rulers of other lands, truly it offended me and alarmed me. That was just for openers.

I wish we were united as one country. We have posters wanting our borders crossed and a warm welcome to people living in places like Mexico. I have nothing against the Mexicans but our laws do not apply to non citizens. When I caught Obama talking to a Mexican and encouraging her to vote despite her being a citizen of Mexico, it also alarmed me.

I have read that currently suicides are the leading cause of death in the USA, followed next by traffic accidents.

 

Not sure I get your point here in reference to my previous post. Yes a deaths a death no matter if it's from a mass shooting or a car wreck or a car wreck caused by cell phones or terrorism. What makes terrorism different is it's a war and we have to fight wars or lose them by default.

 

It's the Vegas massacre that has people foaming at the mouth right now and wanting to use this tragedy to implement long held political beliefs. As the OP shows, massacres like this are infinitesimal and a rounding error in comparison to traffic deaths and even traffic deaths caused by cell phones. If you want to foam at the mouth and get all worked up over something then get worked up over that instead of coming after our second amendment.

What is the perspective you've put this into here? Over 1600 people died from cancer every day in 2015. Does that mean we shouldn't talk about what happened in Las Vegas last week, or we shouldn't worry about cancer deaths?

It means we shouldn't run around like chickens with their heads cut off because fifty people got shot by some lunatic. Especially when we sing a merry tune while we load our kids up in the car and head to Grandma's house knowing that over a hundred people die every day doing just that. Perspective is the operative word here.
